I got this as a 30mL sample when I purchased the rosehip oil. Therefore, I can't really comment on the packaging but from what I've seen in store it's a wonderfully high-end like packaging in a glass pottle with a screw on lid. The sample came in a squeeze tube which I liked as you could control the amount you got out but it wasn't so good for getting out the last of the product.
I've never used a specific night cream before but this one is creamy white with a very strong rose scent. Even after using the whole 30mL sample, I still feel that the scent is a bit overpowering.
It is so thick and the smallest bit goes a long way. It's easy to smooth over the face and spreads easily. It doesn't leave a greasy feeling on the skin, rather, it sinks right in and is so moisturising and hydrating. It leaves the skin with a smooth, almost satin like feel. When I wake up in the mornings, my skin is hydrated but not oily - which usually happens. The only downsides of this product are the smell and price for me. I do love it though and it makes you feel so pampered.
This is my current night cream and its quite a nice, smooth texture. Firstly, if you don't like the smell of essential oils, Trilogy is not for you. The smell isn't my favourite, but the cream itself is really nice. I I find the texture while on the heavy side is still quite light for a night cream. If you put it on early enough, it should absorb before going to bed. My face definitely still feels hydrated in the morning.
