When it comes to hydrating and moisturising my skin, I always come back to Vaseline. What I like about this product is that its affordable and I feel like it works. It doesn't have a lot of smell, but that's ok becuase the more perfume in them, the more chemicals you're adding to your skin. It feels light, fresh and my purse doesn't faint at the price.

Tips: I fill an empty hotel shampoo bottle with this so I have a little moisturiser/hand cream always with me for emergencies and it can help sooth sunburn for a little while as well.
Vaseline Aloe Fresh has literally saved my skin SO many times. It is a light gel-type moisturiser that is especially effective as an after-sun balm. Being pasty white, I do tend to burn a little at the start of every summer and this product provides instant relief, taking the heat and redness from mild sunburn, cooling exposed skin and helping with rehydration. The scent is a mild, inoffensive aloe and the texture is a cool jelly. It feels a little sticky at first but absorbs and dries quickly. An absolute must if you spend summer beachside, poolside or outside!
Tips: Store in the fridge for an even more deliciously cool skin treat!
I bought this while on holiday in Nelson... about 1000km from my stash of moisturisers at home & 10 months later am still glad I did. It was wonderful to apply after a bit too much sun, the whole family used it. Cool, refreshing without too much fragrance. Absorbed well and great to use during winter months too for dry skin all over. the cap has not gotten clogged up with dried moisturiser either.
Love the Vaseline line of products, I think they are so handy for all people, I love the natural ingredients contained in the product, especially Aloe Vera, it helps to rejuvenate my skin and keep hydrated. The product is soooo cheap azwell and comes in a easy squeezy bottle.
love vaseline it keeps your face moist and fresh. creamy and good for your body and face. i even use this when i go out of town on a sunny day.
Aloe Vera gel is one of those must have items for spring/summer with one on backup.
It seems so natural & simple. For me it really does the trick.
I use over shoulders, neck and face after being outside and hot in summer. I do try to avoid getting sunburnt but every now & then these things just happen. For sun burn (minor) it is so soothing, I'll just put on all day and it will avoid peeling.
I feel most brands are about the same but this Vaseline brand is less "oily" like and complements the Vaseline body moisterisor range. Use the Vaseline Aloe moisterisor in cream or spray bottle together with gel, it works suberbly.
For young to old and every age inbetween Aloe gel is a must and will be missed if not on hand. My tip - keep in the fridge, nothing more cooling and soothing than the gel being cold when you are hot or have hot skin.
Tips: Keep a bottle in the fridge for those "super hot" moments.
This summer I went away camping with my friends. And thank god we had this lotion! We came back from the beach nursing our sunburns and this did the right trick. Putting this on burnt skin is very soothing and is a must-have for someone like me who is very prone to sunburn.
As an added bonus the fragrance is very appealing!
Tips: Apply at night after showering.
This is the perfect thing to have in the fridge during summer when you accidentally spend too much time in the sun. It smells amazing, is super refreshing and does wonders to the skin.
Tips: A put some of this in a small spray bottle with water and use it to keep cool at the beach,
Keep in the fridge over summer.A real life saver after a sunburn. So refreshing appled during a hot day Nice smell and texture. One of those buy before you need it products.
Tips: To chill in a hurry put it in the freezer :)
This stuff is amazing on your skin if you've been in the sun/wind a lot and are feeling sore - it cools and soothes your skin as well as moisturizing it to keep it supple. It does have a weird looking texture and can dry a little bit sticky, so is best used as relief for sunburn etc. rather than a moisturizer in my opinion. It's pretty cheap for a decent sized bottle too, so you can take it with you to the beach and not have to worry about losing expensive aloe cream!
