I was stoked to find this in the March BRBB, I've been meaning to try it but couldn't justify the purchase because I can't seem to finish any body butters or lotions unless it's MOR or Pure Fiji. Sadly I still haven't finished this product despite having it for 8 months - I just don't reach for it as much as the others.
I love how the t.v advertisement makes it seem so effortless as if you barely have to rub it in but you still have to do that just not as much as you normally would if it was from the plastic bottle. There are three things that I really love about this product - the feeling of the product upon application, the fragrance and the amount of product that comes out.
I find when you spray this product that it's quite refreshing particularly after a nice hot shower. That may not be the case in winter (bit on the chilly side there) but it really has a lovely cooling effect on your body. Secondly it has the signature scent of the Vaseline lotion range; I love how warm yet fresh the lotions smell and I actually appreciate that they managed to maintain this fragrance under this new kind of packaging.
Lastly I love how just enough product comes out - it's not too little that you're left standing there spraying like a mad woman and it's not too much that you're profusely rubbing the excess into the skin. The claim to being non-greasy is spot on and is very lightweight! I would recommend taking this to the gym because it's quick and easy but personally I like to use thick lotions that smell a bit more - delicious.
I don't find this product as moisturising as other lotions nor does it leave my skin feeling supple like my favourites. Also, I don't like the noise it makes when you spray. It sounds like a whizzing alarm of a small machine you're kicking into gear first thing in the morning - it's definitely bearable but surely they could have could designed it so that it didn't make that noise? I can appreciate the idea but overall it's not for me.
I was a little surprised by this being in the March BRBB, I had seen it around, while curious I wasn't really tempted to buy this.
This is so easy to apply, spray the aerosol over the area to be moisturised then rub in. The moisturiser is lighter/thinner than the normal bottle moisturiser by Vaseline that you can buy as well. You don't have to rub it in but you may need to walk around waiting for it to be absorbed.
This would be handy if you have sunburnt your back and have no one to put moisturiser on you, spray this on and wait to dry. For every day use, for myself this isn't really practical in a small area and you need to be careful you don't make the floor slippery with it.
I don't really see myself purchasing this again unless I get sunburnt.
