Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation Review

this foundation has become a holy grail product for me. i have rather oily skin and have trouble with my foundation slipping everywhere during the day.

i got this from farmers and it is seriously amazing. it really does last ALL day and night. it just looks so impeccable and flawless on the skin. you only need a tiny amount and it goes a long way!

the color match is just beautiful also. the only thing is i wish it came with a pump. it would make life so much easier although ive heard the mac one fits :) overall totally love this foundation.

I wouldn't recommend this for anyone with dry,sensitive or acne prone skin. it can be drying and its so long lasting that it sinks into your pores.

will definitely be re-purchasing this!

Double wear has got to be the most impressive foundation I have ever used... and I seriously mean that. It covers up everything and lasts and lasts. Some nights I have fallen asleep without washing my makeup off and have woken up with the same coverage as the day before! I usually wear this foundation if I am heading out for the night or somewhere fancy because I think it's that special.

This foundation is a miracle worker in so many ways. It lasts me 18 hours at least and the amount of compliments ive received when wearing this is a new record. It covers everything and i mean everything. I only just finished my bottle this morning which has lasted me well over 3 months which is so great and value for what its worth.

My go to foundation. When I was introduced to this I threw my other foundations out and haven't looked back since. The consistency it light and silky. The coverage is amazing and build-able. It's long lasting so your not looking drab by the end of the night nor do you need to carry powder with you to touch up. The price is expensive but it's lasts me around 6 months so it's worth it in my opinion.

I had to try this after hearing everyone rave about how amazing it was, and they weren't exaggerating either! Most full coverage foundations I've tried have looked thick, cakey and unnatural. This stuff exceeded my expectations by a long shot. I've found if you suffer any redness, scarring or blemishes you really need to add another thin layer on top off the first layer but in saying that, it still looks flawless and natural. The only downside is the price in NZ is a bit over the top, so unless buying from overseas I wont be purchasing again. I'll be saving my bottle for special occasions!

This is the best foundation I have ever had. I wear it daily and it lasts all day. I have tried quite a few different brands but this one comes out on top by far.

Without double wear i look like the beast but with it i look like beauty :) its amazing. Hands down BEST foundation ive ever tried, and working in a pharmacy, ive tried a lot of them.

This was the first sort of higher end make up product I have ever purchased and was weary about spending that much money on one product. After being color matched and given a very generous 10 day sample from the lovely lady at the EL counter in Farmers hastings I am convinced. I have had for about 4 - 5 weeks now with daily usage and am very impressed. I think it could maybe have a bit more coverage as sometimes i can still see blemishes through this and concealer but other than that id say a must have.

When ever I want a full flawless coverage, I use my Estée Lauder double wear. In the last couple of years my skin has been prone to acne. This foundation is my saviour!! Depending on the level of breakout sometimes I'll use a concealer, other times this will cover any imperfection without concealer. Love it!! I also brought the double wear stay in place powder to go with it. Love my face when i wear this!

This is one of the best foundations ever, I have hyper-pigmentation and it covers this beautifully. It lasts all day and can be worn without powder for a daytime look or build it up and powder for evening. Blends and covers excellently.
