This is hands down the BEST foundation I have ever used! I got a ten day supply a year or so ago and was so impressed with how long it lasted and how little I needed to apply! It blends so well into my skin, and I don't need to touch my makeup up at all! Is worth the $80 especially if you purchase it from Farmers and get Club card points. Mine lasts me about 4-5 months :)

Tips: Use a good makeup remover as it is a bit harder to remove. DO NOT leave it on overnight!
Estee Lauder Double Wear exceeds ALL of my expectations. I first tried it around 6 months ago when a friend told me that they offer 10 day samples and free colour matching at the pharmacy. I had wanted to try it for a long time and that was the perfect incentive to finally give it a go!
I don't have oily skin but I find that most foundations start to slide off or move around halfway through the day. Even when using a powder over top I could never find anything that lasted ALL day. The closest I came was Revlon Colourstay but even still I was starting to look patchy by mid afternoon.
Double Wear puts all other foundations to shame. The consistency is light and very blend-able yet it covers EVERY imperfection. I no longer need a concealer even when I have breakouts or very dark circles. I apply my foundation with a Sigma F80 flat top kabuki brush (the greatest brush EVER made).
Double wear lasts ALL day. Even in hot temperatures and even when my face gets wet & it doesn't transfer onto anything. It still looks the same at night before I wash my face than it does when I apply it first thing in the morning.
I will never use another foundation as long as this one is around. It is well worth the $80 that it costs & Farmers quite often have 10 - 20% off Estee Lauder so grab it then & save yourself some money.
Tips: Use a Sigma F80 flat top kabuki brush to apply & set with Australis pressed powder for a super matte & flawless finish.
I fell in love with this product right away upon trying it for only 1 day! price wise, yes it is a bit expensive, but It is definitely worth it! I bought mine for $80 at Life Pharmacy and my shade is Rattan 84. It gives me that flawless finish, absolutely full-coverage. The first day I used it after purchase, it stayed on for sold 12 hours! Even my husband gave me a compliment on this. LOVE IT!
Tips: Try using a beauty blender instead of brush to give you a smooth and airbrush like finish. Also, if you are like me who looks shiny on the "T" zone, apply powder over foundation and you will look just fine. :)
This is one of my favourite foundations. It really delivers on flawless coverage, going on smoothly and my personal shade matches my skin tone better than any other, making my skin look amazing! It also manages to stay looking fresh and flawless all day.
Tips: The cost may put some people off, but it's worth it as you don't need to apply as much product. Mine lasts approx 2 - 3 months.
Right so I have religiously been using MAC studio fix for years and cannot find anything to beat this product. The only issue I was having was the lightest shade of mac was perhaps still a bit to dark for me and needed blending. Estee Lauder was recommended to me over the make up obsessives Facebook page. They all raved about it so I gave in and paid the $80 for the foundation. Which in comparison to mac is MORE expensive so I was sceptical. I actually really like the foundation I opted for the second lightest shade as its summer and I've got a bit of tan on the top half of my body...in winter I would probably need the lightest. The shade match was pretty good but still needed a bit of blending to work it into my skin. Major downside to this foundation is its lack of pump so you have to be conscious about product control. Less is definitely more, it is a similar consistency to Mac's studio fix and provides maximum coverage. You have to work a bit quicker than with the mac foundation otherwise I could tell it would go cakey and be un workable into the skin. Overall I am very happy with the foundation, It stays on all day and provides me with great coverage and flawless skin. It covers my freckles and imperfections without layers and layers of the foundation.
Tips: Make sure skin is well moisturised before application. Look into purchasing a pump for product control.
I first tried this from the Farmer's Estee Lauder counter where the counter staff gave me a mini make-over. I was not impressed with how much of this product was applied and it put me off trying the sample I'd been given. I have a facial and sweating problem and very few foundations can cope with the profuse wetness on my facial skin. So on a night out I tried and faced with the same problem as always, I used this product, applying it with my fingers rather than a make-up brush (as the assistant had) and I was amazed at the wearability throuhgout the night. It didn't rub off, it didn't slide down or become dull and lifeless, even in a very hot environment. My facial sweating was not a problem to this wonderful foundation. The colour match for my highly pigmented skin was perfect (Pebble) and really minimised the dark patches under my jaw. This is now my go-to foundation but you do need a very good skin cleanser to get it off and a good moisturiser to ensure it doesn't get the cakey, over made-up look. (I have had huge success with Avon's Skin Invention Day Creme) and have received many compliments on how radiant and refreshed i am looking.
Tips: Apply using your fingertips (brushes tend to leave an almost mask like appearance with this foundation) and use a good primer and./or moisturiser. It's crucial you use a heavy duty facial cleanser if you want to fully remove this foundation.
This is such a good foundation, especially for acne-prone/oily skin as it hides imperfections amazingly and it stays matte all day. Definitely my go-to foundation!
my favourite foundation! i love the finish, even though it is full coverage it feels quite lightweight, i didnt break out or i dont think from it (have a few pimples/acne here and there so i dont know if thats just because or because of this) this shade matches my skin perfectly and i just dont see any flaws in it!
This by far is the best full coverage foundation I have ever used. It hides acne, redness, you name it and it really does stay on all day! It gives you a beautiful matte look that perfectly matches your skin tone and I always get compliments when I wear it. The only downside is that I have to limit how much I use it. I can't use it every day as it's a wee bit too heavy and makes me break out. I currently use this for special occasions only.
Tips: In my experience I find it's best applied with a damp stippling brush.
I personally think there are better long wear foundations out there. I have been trying a sample of this over the past few days and my skin has broken out in huge pimples around my neck and nose. Thanks goodness I asked to have a tester to use before I purchased it. However I did fine that it stayed on and didn't appear to wear off like some other foundations, there certainly was no need for me to use a primer which I always use with my colour stay, but can't say that the colour stay wouldn't stay on without a primer either (I have just always used one).
Tips: Always ask for a tester before buying any foundation as you need to be able to wear if a few times to see if it is going to cause break outs or if the colour changes over the day.
