Skinfood Facial Cleansing Wipes Review

I have dry and sensitive skin but I wear a full face of makeup most days to work so I look for something that is removes all my makeup without aggravating my skin or leaving it dry.

Packaging wise these are the same as most other facial wipes simple clean and easy to use (the little sealer top seals back well after each use – which is really important as sometimes these don’t stick back down well and the wipes dry out) but these did not do this.

This removed my full face of makeup including my waterproof mascara. I did have to go over my eyes a couple of times to get the mascara off but I didn’t have to rub at it and the rest of my face came off easily (generally I wear a mineral foundation blush etc).

It has a very light pleasant fragrance – I really don’t like wipes that have a very strong smell of any sort and doesn’t smell chemically like some can.

The wipe felt thickish and took off my makeup reasonably easily, it didn’t sting or aggravate my skin and it left it feeling clean and fresh without being dried out. For a brief moment it did feel like my skin was going to dry out but then it went away and my skin felt nice and soft and clean. I follow this with rosehip oil and a serum and moisturiser so afterwards my skin felt fantastic.

Pricewise I think this is on par with a lot of the facial wipes out there I think you kind of get what you pay for when it comes to facial wipes.

I would definitely recommend this to a friend especially for those with dry or sensitive skin (or both)

I won a pack of Skinfood New Zealand facial wipes thanks to Beauty Review and was interested to try them. I usually clean my face with my favourite cleanser on a cotton ball. The wipe is easy to take out of its pack. The feeling of the wipe on my face is refreshing. However, I have a very sensitive skin and the wipe really dries my skin off and doesn't moisturised it. For my type of skin, the wipe does half of the job it claims to do. I won't discard the leftovers wipes. I will use them when I don't have direct access to water while camping or hiking. The price of $0.40 / wipe is a bit high in my opinion. I would also prefer a smaller packaging made of recyclable plastic.

I got these in a prize pack and I used them after a night out and heavy makeup. I was pleasently surprised by how easy it was to wipe it all off.

I did have a bit of trouble getting the waterproof mascara off but after a couple of swipes it too came off.

I love that they aren't heavily scented because I find perfumed wipes irritate my sensitive skin and leave it red and rashy.

I always keep some in my bag for on the run emergencies such as panda eyes or whatever. They are also good for cooling down my face when it's too hot.

I bought the wipes in a set with some other Skinfood products. They come in a white plastic package with the green Skinfood logo.

After figuring out that the aperture is under the Skinfood sticker, I removed the wipes individually. They are quite damp ( a good thing I think).

I’ve been using them for cleansing my skin when I arrive home from work in the evenings, and my skin feels fresh and clean after use. I find them very gentle and they don’t cause any irritation to my skin.

They have a very mild scent that is also non-irritating.

The advertised priced is just over $10 and this seems reasonable to me. My one comment would be that they would be better if they had a plastic re-closeable flip top like nappy wipes.

I received a pack of Skinfood Facial Cleansing Wipes as my Day 10 gift in a beauty advent calendar.

Usually I'm not a fan of cleansing wipes, as all the brands I've tried in the past have been rough enough to irritate the delicate skin around my eye area and I find they're usually quite dry; by the time I've wiped one side of my face, the wipe isn't damp anymore and I have to use a second wipe for the rest of my face. So, I prefer to double cleanse using a cleansing oil and then a foaming cleanser but these Skinfood Facial Cleansing Wipes have changed my outlook on facial wipes.

I was really surprised at how soft these wipes are and the refreshing chamomile and aloe vera leaves skin feeling cleansed and soothed. They don't fluff or shed any fibres when they're used to remove eye make-up or lipstick and they're wet enough to cleanse my whole face and neck with one wipe and are definitely the softest facial wipes that I've ever used!

If I ever need to buy facial cleansing wipes (I do like to have a pack with me when I travel), I'll definitely buy another pack of the Skinfood ones and I'll be recommending these!

I received a pack of these in the Beautiful Christmas advent calendar and I was stoked - I'm really enjoying the face wash from this brand so I was excited to get something else from them.

The packaging is just a plain white pack with the typical resealable sticky thing. Inside the pack are the wipes, which are moist enough to feel damp but they aren't dripping. I like it. The wipe itself is quite silky and soft, it's really nice on my face.

The smell of them is quite pleasant, and I like wiping them on my face. I didn't really notice it removing too much make up, but they do take a small amount off. They left my skin feeling nice, without any weird burning sensations or drying my skin out. I'd probably repurchase!

Facial wipes... the lazy woman's best friend. Or at least, that's how I always feel when I'm using them!

These are great for removing makeup easily (though I don't think I've tested them on really heavy makeup) and leaving your skin moisturised. I have sensitive skin so I often react to products, but I have never had a problem with Skinfood. These leave my skin feeling like I've just applied moisturiser, which is a little odd when I've just cleansed, but good because it allows me to fall straight into bed!

I don't like the waste created for the environment by using wipes so I try not to use them too often, but when I do it's always these ones. I make sure to always keep a packet on the bathroom shelf and they always come with me when I travel. Bonus, they are easily picked up at the supermarket or bought with free shipping on the Skinfood website.

If you're a user of facial wipes (I know not everyone is), these are ones you should try.

These skinfood wipes are very gentle on the skin, and I found they didn’t leave my skin feeling stripped which some of them do. I found that they don’t always take all of my make up off, so I often need to use two. I do however wear a full face of make up, so this may be why. I don’t use these all of the time - usually only if I have had a big night or am in a rush.

I have struggled to find cleansing wipes that actually remove my makeup. So many others just take the top layer off and even though I double cleanse my skin still feels grotty. These wipes are thick, very wet(which I love) and a decent price. I paid $7 but I’ve seen them on special for $5 quite often. They remove my mascara and my eyeshadow but I do need to use 2 wipes. I will definitely continue to use this brand and will be recommending them to my friends.

I love these they do a fantastic job of taking off my makeup and my heavy eye makeup,Some wipes have a gross scent but these ones are really nice and fresh smelling leave my face feeling clean,fresh,nourished and not soaking wet like some do which i don't enjoy.Only thing is $10 for one pack i think is too much id rather buy ELF wipes for $3.
