Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer

This was one of the first higher end primers I tried and it made me see what a difference primers can make. I'd previously tried some drugstore brand primers and wasn't sold and mostly gave primers a miss. I finally gave in and bought a smashbox primer and was honestly so impressed with how smooth my makeup application came out. I do wish it lasted a tiny bit longer but it is absolutely worth it and the bottle lasts for quite a long time, making it worth the price. I definitely don't use it on a daily basis but love it for bigger occasions or nights out!

This primer is really good for dry skin as it adds moisture to your face and making a nice base for your makeup. It smooths my face and refines my pores which is exactly what I need. The overall finish of my makeup is also so much better, making it really smooth and shiny. Makes my make up last longer too

I don't use a lot of primers, I bought this from the hype on YouTube as I have a problem with my foundations creasing. This primer definitely makes things very smooth. Keeps make up looking fresh. Kept it in place for 8 hours. Only lot lippies for the price...

This is the best primer I have used, I have tried a couple of different ones but this one was definitely worth the money. A little bit covers your whole face so it does last a long time. It's amazingly smooth and soft, leaving your skin feeling like a perfect canvas for your make-up. Even though I don't wear foundation every day it's also a great base for tinted moisturiser. It's fantastic around the eye and lip area, stops your make-up sitting in any fine lines that may be lurking. It keeps your make-up fresh looking all day long.

I love this primer ot really do what it should. It works perfectly with the smashbox foumdation. It creates a perfect smooth finish it lasts up to 12 hours and it doesent male your foundation get caky. I realy love this primer

I love using this under foundation for a special occasion. I definitely find my make up glides on more easily and lasts a lot longer. I have tried various different primers and have this one to be superior. It is a tad on the pricey side, but a little goes a long away.

I have really oily skin and I'm always after the perfect combination of primer and foundation - think I've found it!! The primer is easy to apply and blend, you don't need a lot of product to get an even coverage for your base. I'll often pop a tiny but on my eyelids after applying foundation and have found that it also keeps my eyeshadow from creasing throughout the day. This product keeps my face looking even and I've never had any "cake-i-ness" with it where I usually get that round my nose quite a bit.

I got this as a 100 point redemption with Sephora and I was kind of expecting a larger tube when it arrived, but c'est la vie.

The packaging has had an update, so you can see how much is or isn't left in the tube. The primer comes out a kind of milky clear, but goes onto the skin clear. I've never had this clump up on application and it goes onto the skin really quite smoothly.

It definitely diffuses the light under the foundation - reducing the effect of pores and the odd fine line. Some primers make me break out, but the few times I've used this, that hasn't happened. And a little goes a long way too. You only need a pea sized amount to get decent coverage. It is silky smooth and long lasting. It is all you could ever want in a primer and I'll eventually get a full sized tube of this!

LOVE this primer . Creates the perfect canvas for my skin type. Makes my skin feel silky and soft before i apply my foundation . I like that it makes my foundation glide on so much easier and means i can use less foundation and still get good coverage. Might not be the best product for really dry skin .

This was my first ever primer. It made such a different to the way my makeup went on. It's a beautiful silicone primer that makes your skin feel silky smooth making the foundation glide on. I not really sure about whether it helps the longevity but it does help smooth pores. I have since tried many primers and I don't tend to like the more tacky gripping primers on my dryer skin. So far this is my second fav primer behind the Hourglass mineral veil primer
