Smashbox Photo Finish Lid Primer Review

I had this applied to my eyes when I got a makeover, I have never bought it myself, but got a makeover with Smashbox and at event and it was amazing, I have wrinkles and a bit of sag in the eyelid area, part genetics, part age, and I will never do surgery and I don't wear eye makeup during day, only mascara but for special occasions I love glimmer eyes and these days the eyeshadow can kind of end up in the folds, but this primes it up and your eye make up stays on. I love it.

I purchased this product recently and fell in love with it the first time I used it. I wear a lot of eye make up and this is perfect. It smooths on evenly and easily and eye make up just glides over the top of it. It also stays put all day! Don't think I would ever be without it now.

You don’t realize how good this stuff is till you stop using it!! It really is MAGIC. You only need to use a tiny bit, which creates a smooth canvas for your eyeshadow and keeps eye makeup in place all day. I do find my upper eyelid gets some stray colour but this will be because I don’t use the primer there.

I cannot sing this products praises enough.. And while I am writing my review I am currently wondering why I haven't been using it recently when I love it so much and tell everyone they need it.. Lol. Will be popping this out on my vanity so I remember to use it! This product is a dream to work with. Its easy to apply, gives a nice base.. I use the applicator tip then blend with my finger.. I find that when I use this product my eye make up is literally set until I wash it off vigorously! This is absolutely ideal for every day use but even more so for special occasions where your colors need more oomph for stayability! I also find this is a great product to use under products which seem slack in pigment.. It seems to give it the extra kick it needs to make it a bit more vivid!

I wear eye shadow every day and wanted something that was going to help make it last a little longer and also help to prevent some of the darker coloured eye shadows staining my eyelids. I found this primer really easy to apply and I also found that you only need to use a little on each eye and simply blend and spread it across your eyelid with your fingertip. I could see straight away that the primer made my eyelids slightly brighter and also smoother ready for applying eye shadow. When using the primer I do find that my eye shadow lasts a lot longer than it would without it. one of my faves for sure.

This is my absolute favourite eye makeup primer (and I've used a few!) You only need to apply a little amount to your eyelids each time, so it is also quite economical. Let it set, apply your favourite eyeshadow, and you're sorted for hours. Your eye makeup won't budge. No, really! It's a seriously great product

This is my all time favorite eye primer. It evens out the eyelid colouring to create a perfect even surface to apply shadow to. It holds the shadow in place with precision and leaves a smooth base for even blending. It prevents the eyeshadow from creasing into fine lines on the eyelid as well, so there is minimal touching up needed. I even noticed after a night out and not removing my makeup before bed, my eye makeup still looked the same when I woke up. This is just amazing I can not stop raving about its awesomeness. It is the best I have ever used.

IMHO this is straight up THE BEST. I have used some other high end lid primers and not really noticed much of a difference. With the Smashbox, I have fallen asleep with my makeup on (very naughty!) and the next morning my eye makeup still looked as though I had just put it on! Super creamy and easy to apply, not drying or runny like some others, and a little goes a long way.

Absolutely love this lid primer, I brought a month ago, I had just gotten into using lid primers so couldnt wait to give this one a go. I found it had a nice soft texture and applied smoothly in the cress and lid, leaving a nice light none shiny colour and after applying my eyeshadow it really helped to define my eyes and make that small difference in making them look great and feel great
