Two-in-one cleanser-toner is a sophisticated formulation that combines a soft, natural foaming action which is derived from Soap nut and Kiwifruit extract; and toning from Kumquat extract, skin rejuvenating Vitamin E, and antioxidant rich Macadamia, Andiroba and Neem seed oils. This is a gentle cleanser that cleanses and replenishes the skin leaving it feeling beautifully refreshed. Unlike many aggressive cleansers and toners, Snowberry cleansers will not damage the skin’s natural barrier. Frequently, people use cheap cleansers and toners that are characterised by harsh foaming agents that rapidly strip the skin’s natural lipids, which leads to inflammation, break-outs and premature ageing. For this reason, the Cleanser is an excellent option for all ages, including teenage skin that is subject to acne.

A cleanser that leaves your skin feeling wonderful

I am a new convert to the Snowberry brand and I'm already impressed. I was lucky enough to receive a generous sized sample of this cleanser/toner. The name I feel is confusing, but in a nutshell it's a 2 in 1 cleanser/toner. It smells refreshing and feels soft on your face. It foams up a little when mixed with water and rinses off leaving no residue. I will be buying a full size of this cleanser.

This brand sounds amazing, I'm definitely going to try it once my current skincare runs out.

Great start to the day

This is a beautiful cleanser, love the way my skin feels after, clean but not stripped. The brown colour is a little weird at first, but the Snowberry rep described as caramel when I had a lovely Snowberry facial - so now I just think of it as being a sweet treat for my face.

Change the name! Not a toner

So this says it is a toner... but really it is a cleanser. I don't get the name, say what you are! But once you realise what this actually is you are in for a treat.

I like the packaging quite a lot. It has a clear plastic container with a tightly fitting lid. It comes with a pump and as you pump it out you can see how much is left in the container as the product itself is brown. I think that each pump doesn't actually give that much product so I always end up using more (probably more than I should).

The product itself is brown gel, and smells quite natural but a bit like Morrocan hair oil. As you rub it in to your skin it has a great creamy feel. I then add a bit of water and rub it in more and it slightly foams. It removes makeup well although it isn't particularly great with eye makeup but that is nothing that a swipe of Micellar water can't fix. The thing that I like most about this product is that it leaves my skin feeling nice and clean but not at all dry. I haven't had any problems with my skin using this, and I think that my skin has enjoyed it with my skin clearing slightly.

I am going through this product at an extremely fast pace of knots and it won't be long until it is in my empties for the month. When I finish it I don't think I'll be repurchasing though as I have a few cleansers to use up and have a plan for my skincare after using those.

Hmm, not sure what to make of this.

This is an interesting product. The packaging is pleasant enough, an air tight pump tube.

But this Snowberry Gentle Remineralising Toner has "A superior, soft-foam cleanser that tones and replenishes the skin."

This part has me puzzled, what is it's exact purpose?

It's a nice enough product to use although I'm not partial to the scent. That's just me though, generally speaking I prefer un-scented products.

The colour though - just no. It's a puzzling brown colour the likes of which I've never seen in skincare products before.

It leaves your skin feeling very refreshed, I will say that. I haven't been using it for long enough to have a fixed opinion as to whether it works or not but short term use indicates a promising response. I am surprised at the price though

Tips: Hmm not really but as with most of these skincare products a little seems to go a long way. Apply sparingly.

amazing!!

This inspired something I rarely do.... a post on the brands FB page raving about this product.

I'm another who can't work out why this isn't called what it is - a gentle, balancing, gorgeous cleansing gel.

I picked this up in the 2015 Beautiful Christmas Advent Calendar in a 30 ml size, which disappointingly only lasted a few weeks. For $55 I would have expected it to last longer, but it really just doesn't last long. That's it's one flaw though.

The packaging is gorgeous, and I love the pump dispenser. The product is a soft caramelly shade, and a gel like formula. It managed to clean and balance my face perfectly without lathering, stripping, drying, irritating, breaking out or being harsh in any way, shape or form. It's almost like taking a gel made of your skin, and using it to replace any flaws in what's on your face. Somehow, it just magically renders your facial skin at its best.

There is a soft, pleasant scent that doesn't linger, and my sin was left soft, clean, perfectly balanced, and looking amazing.

I just can't justify $55 every few weeks to achieve that, unfortunately. I would LOVE to be able to use this religiously!

Tips: try and sample it if you're worried about the cost, but I'm not sure how - perhaps ask at a counter?

The BEST cleanser

I received this just before Christmas I was so over the moon with excitement as I have heard many good things about snowberry products but had never ventured out and Brought any myself so I read the box (only the front) and it says "remineralising toner" perfect I think, a toner. So after I cleanse I went to put it on my face hmmm consistency is a bit strange for a toner so I get the box again and read the back and it's actually a cleanser, a bit odd but ah well.

The brown coloured, gel type cleanser has a bit of a scent but not enough to distinguish what it actually is. 2 pumps out of the pump top bottle is enough to cleanse my face.

It only very slightly foams and you have to scrub it around your face a few times to get the foam.

After I pat my face dry my skin feels and looks amazing, having dry skin I steer clear from cleansers that feel like they strip more moisture from your skin than anything else and I was so happy when this just left it almost glowing and ready for the rest of my routine.

I probably have 2 more uses left in the tube before its finished I will be repurchasing this but in the 100ml size as its roughly the same price as this tiny tube. Can't say enough about this cleanser except how amazing it is!

Two in one - Cleanser that tones

I was stoked to received my first Snowberry product in the Beautiful Christmas NZ box last year. I was even more stoked because I had just run out of toner and didn't have to repurchase a new one - so I thought. I was surprised to find the 'toner' in a pump bottle and thought my eyes were deceiving me when I thought it looked like cream from the outside.

I didn't even register it was a cleanser even as I was pumping the gel-like product into my hand until I read the back of the bottle while using it in the shower and found that it's a "cleanser that tones and replenishes the skin". I stopped mid action because that meant I had just cleansed my face 3 times and toned it once? (Cleansed twice with my normal cleanser and cleansed again and toned with Snowberry).

I love the packaging, lightweight, white with minimal colour. It's quite compact so it takes up little room when traveling and there's no issue with leakage. I do feel that the name of the product is confusing because I don't know many people who would associate the word toner with "cleanser" right from the get go.

I use one pump and a half for my entire face and it has a natural semi sweet scent to it. It doesn't really foam at all and remains slick on my skin as I try to massage it in. Most of the time I can massage 'cleansers' into my skin so that I can't detect it's original form but with this it remains gel-like right until I wash it off. I was surprised that something so gentle on the skin could make my skin feel so tight and squeaky clean. My skin felt smooth and soft once I patted it dry.

I'm not sure I could justify $55 for 30ml or is it priced that way because it's 2-in-1 and it has natural ingredients? Does it do the job? I believe so but if you're like me who cleanses twice at the end of the day (oily skin) but don't necessarily tone twice then it's not really for me. Would I recommend it to others though? Absolutely.

Confusing product

Maybe I am being an old schooler or just revealing myself to be one of those annoying persons who never read instructions and just dives head first into things, but I do prefer having my cleanser and toner separate, for me a toner is a balancing agent for my combination skin to ensure that my pores are tightened, settling dry areas and absorbing excessive oils.

By the packaging this toner reads as a gentle remineralising toner, so my thoughts were to use as a toner as it doesn't scream "hey I am a cleanser toner" so after washing my face and drying it I popped on this toner onto a cotton wool pad then patted over my skin like I do every day with my regular toner. However I did notice that the texture of it was rather thick and a very off putting beige brown colour. Having a more gel consistency which held it's own form on the pad should of tipped me off that this wasn't a normal toner, but nevertheless onto the skin it went. Leaving a filmy layer over my skin that did absorb a bit.

A few hours later my skin felt really itchy and I was desperate to get my makeup off which was breaking down with oil outbreaks. Finally getting it all off and cleansed my face didn't look red but the itchy feeling was still there. Recounting all products used that day I realised that the only new thing was the toner. This is where I read the instructions. Mix a few drops of the gel with water in your hands to create a foam, smooth over your face and rinse. A cleanser that tones and replenishes the skin. Which really annoyed me, of course it made my skin itch I was walking around all day with a gel cleanser dried on my skin. It really put me off the product and felt a little angry at the product being marketed as a toner when it was in fact a cleanser with toning abilities.

Excellent, gentle cleanser

I booked into a "snowberry facial" at my local life pharmacy which was a great way to try a heap of their products and have them explained and recommended to me. So I never made the toner mistake others have made, I bought it knowing it was a cleanser, and a cleanser that would be suitable for my skin. I also bought some other products of theirs too - which I love <3 The brown tea coloured gel has, in my opinion, no foaming action. I was told to only use a small amount and that it wouldn't hardly foam so I knew to expect that too. I use it with a konjac sponge and love the way it makes my skin feel afterwards, very smooth and clear with no residues left on my skin. Straight onto makeup this is not really that effective, I use a makeup remover or balm first and use this cleanser solely to clean my skin, not clean makeup off my skin if that makes sense? I have found it lasts for ages using it this way rather than wasting it trying to get heavy makeup off. I really like it, have repurchased it and would recommend it to others.

Tips: Just a tip for Snowberry...maybe spell things out a little more clearly - I can see myself making the same mistakes others did if I hadn't had a personal consultation explaining and trialling it all. State and explain the obvious. We don't want to have to admit it ourselves but we appreciate the childlike explaination so we don't have to overthink or assume stuff ourselves.

Snowberry

I was completely fused by this product as it stated it was a toner but was a face foaming wash. I had a love hate relationship with this item & just wanted to get it used up. I wanted to love it given the brand name but I didn't come to love it. I got this item in my NZ brand Beautiful Chr6box of 2015 so I didn't pay full price for item thankfully because this is a highend item. I found it had a pungent scent & has a brown gritty appearance. Its packaging was a nice sturdy pump bottle where the product would disperse out of pump & I would put into my palms & add warm water then the wash would foam up of which applying to my face. I found it ho-hum it would either strip my skin or leave me to break out so my end result of using this was not a good one.
