I recieved this moisturizer in the BBBE Christmas box and I've just finished it. It has lasted a long time as my daily go to facial moisturizer and has got me through most of the winter dry skin. I have very sensitive skin and this product suited me well with no reactions. It has a very subtle scent. I love how it is a New Zealand made product with no nasties which I usually react to. Highly recommend this product.

Snowberry Nourishing Day Lite Cream Review
Designed specifically for combination to normal skin. This natural, light-weight moisturising cream combines an Omega 6 ceramide-boost with a rich blend of exotic but natural herbal oils including Lingonberry and New Zealand Harakeke seed oil to nourish, smooth, and revitalise skin. Ingredient Highlights: Ceramide Boost – ceramides are found naturally on the skin but as you age and through sun damage, the quality and quantity of ceramides reduces. This ceramide boost forms a protective layer to help prevent moisture loss.

Tips: Apply over neck and face as required.
I'm a big fan of Snowberry so I was looking forward to trying this moisturiser. Just reading the ingredients list is enough to make a girl swoon - honeysuckle? Cranberry seed oil? Mother of Pearl extract? Sign me up!
As it is I've found it really matches the name lite day cream - it is clearly composed mainly of oils and has an odd texture, like the ratio of oils to solids is a little out. While this makes it a little tricky to apply, it does absorb into my skin easily, leaving it without the heavy layer often left by moisturisers.
However... the price. At $86 for a bottle of moisturiser, I just couldn't do it. Maybe if it also did the laundry and made my coffee in the morning I would spend that much on a face cream, but until Snowberry develops that moisturiser I'll have to stick to using their (very reasonably priced and actually amazing) serum and give this one a pass.
I was hesitant using a cream on my face and was surprised that Snowberry Nourishing Day Lite Cream was true to its word. Very 'light weight' and so far - hydrating to boot! NZ made without any nasties and the cream is for combination to normal skin types.
I love the white boxed packaging with a beautiful scene of colourful birds, branches/leaves and people - it is so fresh! Definitely indicates you are in for a special treat. There are clear instructions on the box and bottle of Snowberry Nourishing Day Lite Cream. I really like the long, tubular plastic bottle. The bathroom cupboard can be quite full at times and this little gem fits nicely and not to mention in my toilet bag as well.
Snowberry Nourishing Day Lite Cream is easily dispensed from the bottle's pump. I apply after my morning routine and the cream lasts all day without any irritation. So simple and easy.
Going into the winter months will be a good test as I can get dry patches around my nose.
I am a bit obsessed with Snowberry, and have now tried almost all of their moisterisers. Snowberry does a great range especially for oily/ Combination skin with no less than 3 lite moisterisers. I would say that this Nourishing Lite Day Cream is the "heaviest" lite day cream (compared to the Starbright & Bright Defence No 1). It is thicker than the other two, and has a matt finish. Overall just lovely - as with all Snowberry products I've tried. I have marked it down as it is a solid $20-25 more expensive than the Starbright & Bright Defense No 1. options.
Tips: Great if your combination skin is dryer in winter, but you want to stay away from anything heavy that will clog your pores.
I received this day cream in a Beauty Box. I had not tried anything from Snowberry before, although I had heard of the brand, so I was interested in trying this product.
The Snowberry Nourishing Day Lite Cream comes in a white cardboard box with the black Snowberry branding running vertically down from the top. The box is decorated with cute coloured silhouettes of people, flowers and birds on the side. The product itself is packaged in a tall, thin, white, plastic, round bottle. It has a removeable round lid and a pump for dispensing. The bottle is 50ml. The bottle has a matte texture and it is nice to hold. It also looks expensive.
On the box it states that this cream is made in New Zealand, is a Carbon Zero certified product, and that it is not tested on animals. It also states that it does not contain: Petrochemicals, Propylene or Butylene Glycols, Volatile alcohols, Artificial colours, Silicones, DEA or MEA ingredients. Inside the box is a leaflet that gives a background to the Snowberry brand, and also outlines what each of their products do in several different languages.
The cream itself is white and it is easy to dispense from the bottle’s pump. It has barely any scent. It absorbs quickly into the skin. In the leaflet that accompanies this product it states that the Nourishing Lite Cream is designed especially for “combination to normal skin”, and I agree with this. My skin is very dry and sensitive. I applied this cream every day in the morning and it did not irritate my skin. However, I have primarily used this cream over winter, and although my skin felt moisturised after applying this day cream, it did not feel moisturised enough. But I do think this is a great cream for combination and oily skin as it absorbed quickly, is non-irritating, and is moisturising without being heavy. So even though this lite cream is not for me, I do think it is a quality product which is worth splashing out for if you are looking for an ethically conscious product that will not irritate your skin.
This nourishing cream came in a BBBE with matching eye serum. It comes in the same cute packaging. The 50 ml plastic bottle is sturdy and has a plastic pump top.
The product is a thick white lotion. It has the same rosehip/cardboard smell as the eye serum.
It absorbs quickly but leaves a slightly sticky feel on my skin that takes a few minutes to resolve. My skin does feel hydrated and soft afterwards though. The product claims it combines an Omega 6 ceramide-boost with lingonberry and New Zealand Harakeke seed (which may explain the smell), to nourish, smooth and revitalise skin. My skin does feel smooth after each use, and revitalised after a number of uses, so it does do what it claims.
So it's nice, and does what it says it will do, but it's a bit pricey for me. I'm a fan of oils and would prefer to buy a good oil if I were to spend $86 on a moisturising product. But that's just my preference. It is definitely worth a try for people who prefer light moisturisers.
Tips: Use with the eye serum for a good all-round result.
Received this in the BBBE Xmas box. Quite simple stand up white tube with pump. Easy, controlled dispersal of product. Slightly scented. Light and creamy texture. Feels water based. Absorbs quickly, skin looks hydrated afterwards. Mixes well with other products in my routine.
$86 worth it? To me no. There are more affordable ones that come to mind that I'm more impressed with. Quite simply I wouldn't repurchase it.
I like snowberrys packaging, its always just so... matchy matchy. Fun and fresh.
The product is wonderfully thick and sor3ads evenly all over the face easily. One pump is plenty, too!
It smells... meh. Average. I dont rate it but i dont notice it after a few moments so its okay with me. I have dry sensitive skin so im pleased that it doesnt make me worse.
My skin feels nice after use but i wouldn't repurchase, the price doesn't deliver enough goods for me to want it again!
I was looking for locally made products and came across Snowberry in Farmers. I received my first bottle as a freebie when I bought 2 other products. I wasn't sure if I was going to like it as I have dry skin and I did not really think a lite cream would work. However I have seen huge improvements in my skin. My pores are looking much smaller and the over all texture has improved. It leave my skin feeling hydrated but not oily, and works well under makeup.
Tips: 1-2 pumps is all you need. A little goes a long way.
