I'm a massive fan of Soap & Glory products however I was a bit skeptical about trying their hair care for fear of it damaging my hair. But I was in Mecca on Boxing Day and it looked lonely all by itself, so purchased it, why not right?
I'm so glad I did as it is actually really good. It lathers up really well, and it didn't leave that stripped feeling, felt nice and smooth but very clean.
I first tried it without conditioner to really get a feel for how it works on it's own and I was pleasantly surprised that it didnt leave my hair feeling brittle or dry (that is a huge achievement as I always have to use conditioner due to really dry hair).
Second time around I applied a conditioner from Schwarzkoph (unfortunately the S&G conditioner was out of stock) and that really helped too but not a massive difference than if I hadn't used it.
Third time around and how I continue to use it, is to spray a leave in conditioner in my hair after it has been towel dried. I really love it.
The packaging is super cute and I love that it comes in a squeezy tube as opposed to a bottle as no shampoo gets left behind this way. The fragrance is yummy, hard to pin point, but it is sweet and fruity but not over the top.
Would definitely purchase again as $12 is a steal compared to the salon prices I have been paying. I will definitely purchase the conditioner when it is available so I can see what results I get when using them together.
Love Soap and Glory and love that it is now at Mecca. This is a great priced Shampoo which has the typical lovely Soap and Glory smell which is amazing, leaves hair feels extra clean and is great followed up with the Conditioner.
