I got this as a gift and I love it! Soaks in to the skin nicely, and the smell is so yummy! The packaging looks nice, and even the small tub lasts well.

Tips: Using this with the matching body spray helps the smell last
I first tried this body butter after seeing it in Mecca Maxima and thinking how great it would be if it actually worked as it's a great price, cruelty free and comes in a large tub. Initially upon opening the lid I thought the smell reminded me of dishwashing liquid but once I had rubbed it into my skin the scent seemed to change. After about 10 minutes I was left with a subtle Vanilla/lime fragrance which I loved. I always use this at night and wake up with soft, smooth skin. I was very excited to have found a product that was such great value for money I quickly went out and bought a few more as Christmas gifts. The fragrance can put people off but once it's on it definitely improves and I've heard the same from the friends I gave these to as gifts. I will definitely be purchasing this body butter again and am looking forward to trying more products by Soap and Glory
Tips: The intense lime scent will calm down after contact with the skin and leaves a subtle but fresh fragrance
I brought this after trying and loving the Sugar Crush shower gel and I was not disappointed! It's thick, smells like sugar sherbety goodness and keeps me moisturised all day. It doesn't leave behind a greasy yuck feel and the scent lingers on your skin for the day. The size of the tub is very generous and it is pretty darn cheap so win win!
A pink pottle with a screw top lid. This thick cream is amazing Fragrance is like strawberries and lime very light but sweet like crushed sugar yum Not over powering and doesn’t ruin any fragrance you follow with. This cream works in so easily and is amazing for dry skin or summer skin or dry winter skin all year round it’s like a tall glass of water quenchers a thirsty skin. A bit of luxury like rubbing a soft cloud of fluffy silk over my body. Excellent for dry patches as well. The more I use this the better my skin has become. It’s natural and not expensive a everyday staple.
I picked this up in Australia and like the easy screw top packaging but would probably prefer a pump just for hygiene reasons. The scent is initially quite overpowering and the body butter itself is such a nice consistency! Creamy and luxurious feeling when you rub it into your skin and I find it's fairly moisturising.
The scent also becomes less overpowering when it's on your skin and leaves just a lingering sweetness that I enjoy!
Would recommend!
it's been a rough life without a decent moisturizer but luckily soap and glory have come to the rescue for me and delivered this darling. i thought i would hate it, as i didn't like the hand cream, but this is just delightful!
packaging is gorgeous and appeals to my girly heart. inside, the white gold is housed and blow me down and call me a poorly built little pigs house. smell is delicious. i want to taste it. i refrain, barely.
for the first week i'm able to use the cream that sticks to the lid for my entire body. it's so thick yet a small amount really does go far. after that it takes me at least a month to finish the tub if not longer, as i tend to chop and change what i use.
not only does my skin smell amazing for hours but i am left with wonderfully soft skin. the man often runs a hand over my body and its usually on days i've used this and "ooh! you're soft today!" its win win for both of us, because then i get a lovely rub/scratch/pat and he well... im not sure how he wins in this scenario.
this is just a great moisturizer and i'll buy it again.
During self isolation time I did some online shopping . Straight away I thought of Mecca for some pampering . I knew I had Soap and Glory on my list . I was originally going for the Righteous Butter cream because it was fantastic . I knew a small tub wouldn’t last me . I thought I’d give this one a try after reading wonderful reviews.
I love this retro vibe packaging . Fun loving coloured pink tub. Large in size enough to last a fair few times. Consistency is thick but creamy with this wonderful scent of sherbet limes . Sweet and cheerful scent very different from the skinfood scented body butter not sure why . I lathered this on my skin and afterwards my skin felt so silky and smooth. How could this be? This magical butter could make me feel soft sweet and smooth.
I did the soap n glory wash , scrub and butter and boom does wonders . I wish I could feel this good every day . So rationing my stash to a weekly event . Body butter every second day to make it stretch further.
I don’t think $20 is expensive at all . It’s priced fairly for such a good product. It’s done wonders for my dry sensitive ageing skin . I will keep buying this one along with any other releases of their body butters. Their really good .
I really dislike lime and lemon scents and fortunately I didn’t read the description on Mecca’s website when I purchased this, otherwise I wouldn’t have bought it and would’ve missed out on this deliciousness! I was surprised by the lime scent as I was expecting something sweet like vanilla due to the name “sugar crush”, this lime cheesecake scent is the yummiest body butter I’ve ever owned, I love how this smells on the skin, it’s very rich and hydrating and sinks in a bit slower than a lotion, but I only use it for nighttime anyway, so it’s not a problem for me. It can be a bit sticky at times, but for the super smooth skin I get in return I don’t mind much. I needed something more moisturising for my extremely dry winter skin as my usual lotions couldn’t handle it anymore, I think I’ll go back to lotions in the summer, but will use body butters in the colder months. Thankfully they make a body lotion in the same scent, so I might buy that too! I never would’ve thought I’ll ever like any sort of lime scents, but this is absolutely amazing, I love it so much that I’ve had to buy the shower gel and handcream in the same scent from mecca, best mistake purchase I have ever made!!
Tips: If you’re unsure about the lime scent, don’t be, it’s heavenly!!
Um... sorry Soap & Glory... i really tried to love it, i really did. But i guess my nose just didn’t approve this scent.
When i opened the lovely pink top off the tub of this sugar crush, my nose just backed away. The fragrance smell wasn’t too overwhelming, but i guess it just wasn’t my cup of tea, as it kind of reminded me of a citrusy bathroom scent. However, i still gave it a go.
Just as expected, as soon after i finished applying, the sharp citrusy fragrance has toned down into a light and sweet lime fragrance on my skin. I do however like that hint of sweetness behind this scent.
However, the body butter itself is nice and creamy. It absorbs into your skin fairly quickly, leaving your skin soft and smooth. The scent starts to fade away fairly quickly though as the cream absorbs, so it’s not strong like the body butter with the original pink fragrance. Although the body butter with pink fragrance is a lot stronger, i think i do prefer the scent of the original pink fragrance over this one.
I guess if i didn’t already use citrus scents in the bathroom, or if the start notes of this scent was more subtle and the sweetness lasted longer to begin with, i would have enjoyed this body butter more, as the initial strong citrusy scent does fade away quite quickly into a nice and subtle scent once absorbed.
It’s not too bad afterall... i think i will eventually get use to the scent. It’s a decent size for the price, and would be a nice gift for citrus scent lovers.
