This is a decent scrub that isn't too pricey and easy to hunt down at your local supermarket. I used to use this as my regular face scrub and found it great. Got rid of all those nasty dry patches! Can at times feel a bit harsh, so maybe not so good for sensitive skin.

It does what it should, and it's great value for it's price. Though they tell you to use it two or three times a week, I wouldn't use it more than once a week - it's quite rough with it's apricot particles. It doesn't feel too dry after use on my sensitive skin.
Tips: be more gentle with this scrub - it can irritate your skin quite easily if you use it like you would with other scrubs/
I found this scrub to be really refreshing and left my skin feeling super soft.
This scrub isn't highly scented but it quite gritty and cannot be used daily. I felt that it was quite harsh on my skin even if was only using is one a week and I feel that there are better scrubs out there that fight my blemishes more effectively.
Tips: Use only once or twice a week
I use it minimum 3-4 times a week as part of my night time skin care routine. Its light, easy to apply, and easy to wash off. For those with more sensitive dry skin, maybe be more gentle on the scrubbing, and not scrub too long. For me, this product exfoliates my skin well so i have been using this product for a very long time. My face feels refreshed and smooth after using it. No burning sensations.
Tips: I love to use it as my night time in-shower scrub. There are other scrubs by St ives you might also like to try if this one doesn’t suit you because there is a difference depending on your skin type. Some who tried the Pink lemon and mandarin orange scrub might prefer that one as its a much lighter scrub, and vice versa. However, for my skin, the blemish fighting apricot scrub does the best.
A reasonably priced facial scrub. This product definitely contains enough exfoliating particles for a good removable of unwanted dead skin. I can't completely feedback about its breakout control capability as I rarely get breakouts even before using this product. But in saying that, this definitely kept my face feel and look clean. The only downside that I found, is that, this product can be very drying to the skin. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is wanting to scrub away old and tired skin
Tips: apply face moisturiser after use to avoid drying out and/or use every 2nd day
Iv quite enjoyed using the st. ives apricot scrubs over the years. I dont think Il use them again though. Recently I learnt that harsh granulated scrubs such as this could do more damage then good by making tiny abrasions on the skin and spreading bacteria. I also never noticed much difference when it came to breakouts when using this so it doesnt realy do what it says. Iv since started using an exfoliater with tiny granules that dont feel so harsh on my skin. I believe this still a good range though.
I have been using this product since I was a teenager, I really like it as it is quite an abrasive exfoliant (which I prefer) I do not have sensitive skin so I really go to town when I exfoliate in a bid to get all the oil and debris out of my pores.
To be honest I have never noticed a decrease in the amount of blackheads or whiteheads I have and I have never had acne (just the odd hormonal break out) so can't really comment on that aspect of the product but it really does get rid of all the build up dead skin and leaves your skin feeling smooth and glowing.
A great entry level exfoliant.
Tips: Always remember to cleanse thoroughly before exfoliating. This product is not a cleanser and should be used in conjunction with the cleanser of your choice.
The juicy apricot smell is the first thing that sucked me I to this, I found it was perfect for exfoliating every fortnight or so, but after a whole found that my face was getting super sensitive and red, which is turn was because the gritty texture was causing micro tears in my skin! The salicylic acid always clears my breakouts in a jiffy but just beware if you're sensitive to rough textures.
Tips: As it is very gritty, just lightly massage the product in, no need to press it right in as it can be damaging. I often use it on my ankles to remove fake tan!
The one thing i loved about this is my skin didnt come out in a rash like a lot of other similar products, but it was average, i didnt get amazing results but it was lovely to use. i love how refreshed and smooth my skin felt after using the scrub :)
I love the way my skin felt after using this scrub for the first time. I've been using this every second night since receiving this product to trial. My skin seems to like it. I often find I react to most scrubs. But this is gentle. I love the way my skin feels after using it. So smooth and fresh feeling. Ive also been havibg a few hormonal breakouts and its helped so much with this. So pleased to finally find something I can use on the regular. It also smells great and is an affordable option. Can't fault this product.
