I have a love hate relationship with St Ives products. They make my face feel so smooth and clean and fresh but after using it a few times it can make my face extremely dry like its been over-ex-foliated. Because i had already brought it, and didn't want it to go to waste, so i started using it as a body scrub and it worked much better this way.

Tips: If your going to use it as a face wash, only use it around once a week otherwise it can seriously damage your face and leave it extremely dry. Or just use as a body scrub!
the smell of this scrub is amazing however the beads in this were to hard and actually hurt my face when i used this. i also noticed that when i had active blemishes it was making them bleed and obviously spreading the bacteria around my face. for myself i found that this product was not suited at all to active blemishes on the face
I have heard a lot of good things about this scrub so thought it was worth a try and my mum used to swear by the stuff when I was a teenager. So I tried it and to put it nicely I really didn't like it. It is much too abrasive for me and made my face sting and quite sore and I don't have sensitive skin by any means. I gave it a good go using it twice a week, not as a daily scrub as it wouldn't do me any favours, It made me break out badly and I for sure won't try again. The cleanser itself is nice and creamy I just wish the beads weren't as rough as they are.
I'm sure it's well know that St. Ives scrubs are a favourite for those who love rough and almost, some would say, harsh scrub products. This definitely fits that bill. I do like rough scrubs for my body and often for my face but I felt this didn't leave my face feeling smooth after using it, maybe even a little tight, but my body felt much smoother. I would use this more as a body scrub as it's a wee bit rough for my face considering my spots and bumps. Overall, it is a good effective product, not suitable for me but I can see how it is a favourite.
I love St Ives moisturises, they always help to bring moisture back into my skin, I thought I'd give other St Ive products a go. This Scrub was on sale so I gave a go. I did not like that it made my skin very dry, it smelt so good though and was cheap but the product wasnt so good with my skin type
This didn't help with blemishes and was very gritty and harsh on my sensitive skin. I used st Ives for years . I had nada to compare it to in my teen years and early adult hood. Now I've tried others and now know better.
I didn't like this product. It was to harsh on the skin. I am a sensitive skin type and I am use to using a gentle exfoliator so maybe that is why I didn't enjoy it?
I used this because someone recommended it for me. While straight after I washed my face, it felt supple and hydrated, over the next few hours it made my skin (especially around my nose) very, very dry.
So unfortunately, not for me but great for those who don't suffer from dry skin.
