Don't not use if you have sensitive skin. So red and buring from this. I'm glad I'm wiser now and don't keep putting these irritating products on my skin. Harsh abrasive and cheap for a reason.

This mixes with water to form a creamy consistency. It has a faint citrus smell and some grainy bits in it that exfoliates the face. It is good at removing dead skin, but I find it harsh and drying if used everyday. I don't notice a brightening effect either, just clean skin.
Tips: 1. Use weekly if you have sensitive skin.
I absolutely love the smell of this product however, it’s not my favourite and I don’t reach for it as much as some of my other exfoliators, it scrubs well but I’m not a fan of the texture of it and how it makes my skin feel afterwards. It’s a good option if you are on a budget or you need to grab something quick at the supermarket. I will use it when I run out of other products and I don’t have anything else left otherwise it just sits in my bathroom.
Tips: Patch test first! Especially if you’ve got sensitive skin.
I have said before that I am a sucker for St Ives products and when I spotted this in my local supermarket I grabbed it to try as I had not seen it before.
However, it didn't live up to what I was expecting, yes it was a good scrub that cleaned my skin deeply and left it very clear and smooth but I did not notice any evening or brightening to my skin as the bottle suggested.
It did have a lovely fragrance and felt nice to apply so would probably repurchase if it was ever on special as I just like the deep cleanse that these scrubs provide, however for the claim side of it I am on the fence.
This scrub smells really good but unfortunately this isn't my favourite scrub. I've used a few of the others by St Ives. I prefer the more concentrated scrubs as I felt my skin didn't feel as well polished and it was more of an average facial cleanser. I will probably finish it and I like to use it on my hands, arm and chest, but probably not very good use of a facial scrub.
This scrub is a bit rough on the skin, but it does smooth. I also find it quite hard to wash off all of the product quickly. I use this only when my skin is in need of a very deep cleanse. It also irritates some people's sensitive or acne-prone skin.
Tips: Only use scrub once or twice a week.
I've used St. Ive's Scrubs since I was a teenager, and they've always featured heavy crushed-seed/shell particles, so when I first dispensed this product into my hand one sleepy morning I assumed I'd picked up the wrong bottle, because the scrubbies were nowhere to be seen! Instead there's a rough cream that does polish your face, but otherwise leaves me a little unimpressed, somehow.
It smells fine - slightly lotion-y with a refreshing citrus overtone. It feels fine - creamy but with teeny scrubby particles. It's fine on skin - doesn't dry me out, scrub me raw or overload the moisture. But that's the problem. It's simply....fine. Unremarkable, in a market crammed with remarkable products.
I'll probably not repurchase this, but I'll use the bottle.
Tips: If you're interested, just buy it - you won't get a sample, and my big thing with scrubs is that if you don't like them on your face, you can always use them on your feet.
Not a bad weekly scrub to get a deeper exfoliation, although I did find it to be quite drying if I used more than that. The smell is what makes this product amazing, so refreshing and gives me a boost in the morning! My partner who has oily skin loves this, and works really well on his troublesome skin. I don’t necessarily find that it brightens my skin, but I do like how it feels afterwards.
Tips: Definately needs a good after skincare routine such as serum and moisturiser to retain suppleness for the skin.
Skin felt really nice afterwards, but other things let it down for me. The grains/beads are so small that it's easy to mistakenly get it in your eyes. It seemed to strip all the oil from my skin too. Although the Fragrance isn't overpowering I didn't enjoy it personally.
Unfortunately this made my skin sting when i first applied it, I've never had a reaction to St ives before so a bit of a shame really. I did like the smell and consistency and I'm sure it would work great on different skin types.
