St. Ives Even and Bright Pink Lemon and Mandarin Orange Scrub Review

I'm a huge fan of the st ives apricot scrub but I thought I'd try out something else! I knew I wouldn't be disappointed because I lovee the St Ives products. So I bought this and used it the next morning, it smelt sooo sooo yum! I also liked that the scrub wasn't as coarse as the apricot one, its really smooth and gently on the skin but it still leaves your skin feeling nice and soft and really clean :) although I do like this product a lot I haven't noticed any 'brightness' or 'even skin tone'.. Maybe not yet..

Firstly the texture is gritty like you expect a scrub to be and a thick consistency so it stays in my hand while I fasten the lid & place back in it's place. As you massage it around your face (or other areas), enjoy the sweet fresh citric aroma.

Rinses off easily (something I struggle with other scrubs). As for the claims - I'm not sure what imperfections it will scrub off - that could just be dirt, makeup etc. My skin did feel fresh, clean, and brighter (IMO). Not sure about more even toned, I haven't ever noticed a problem with this, so I guess you can't fix perfection ;)

This Bright pink lemon and mandarin orange scrub is a nice and gentle exfoliator.. it polishes away the dead skin cells... leaving the face soft and clean. The exfoliating granules are quite small in size so quite gentle on the face.. which i think makes it suitable for those with more sensitive skin.

The scent of this scrub is also very light and refreshing.. i love to use it as my in-shower facial scrub at night as it helps to get rid of any dry flaky skin before bed. I didn’t really notice much change in my skin tone.. probably have to use it for a longer period of time to see an effect as my face is quite spotty with all the freckles.

St Ives is a family favourite brand. My mum favoured all their body lotions. When I first saw this in the supermarket I was curious to try it. I'm always keen to try new products from this brand. I did eventually buy it after much thought about it.

This scrub comes in a white tube. On the outside of this tube is this the St Ives branding. The tube comes in a 170gram so theres plenty of product to use in it. The texture of this scrub is light and creamy. This scrub is white coloured. There are no scrubbing beads in it like the apricot one. The scent of this scrub is like fresh lemons and mandarins. I enjoyed this scent.

When I apply this I always wash my face first. I put a little bit on my chin for five minutes to test it and it was fine. After that I smother my face with this scrub normally after a long day of wearing make up. After cleaning it off my skin felt clean and fresh. I didn't experience any dryness with this. I got mine for about 6.99 on sale so I was lucky at the time. I think it's still priced at the right price for it. My bottle has lasted me five weeks and still counting. I enjoyed using this and I would use it again.

I was given this to try by a friend. I was pretty happy because I used the apricot one for years and then stopped, but remember it being pretty good.

This one comes in a large, 150ml tube, with bright pretty and fresh – looking branding. The flip tip flips open and the product easily squeezes out.

The product is a heavy white cream. I just spread it between both hands and rub into my skin. It is slighty gritty, but not too much, as I have used many scrubs and I found some can pull or irritate my skin if they’re too gritty. This one is just right for my skin. My skin feels fresh and clean after using it. I like it for cleaning off make up as I am always a little paranoid about leaving traces of make up on my face if I’m not actually under the shower washing it off. I feel this scrub does a good job of leaving my skin totally cleansed.

The smell is gorgeous- fruity and kind of creamy, similar to a good fruit scented hair conditioner. I love it.

At around $10 per tube, it is very good value for money, and I do recommend it to others to try.

This scrub is super affordable and very gentle. I have also tried the St. Ives apricot scrub. However, I prefer this one as it's a bit more gentle and suited for people with sensitive skin. I like it for this reason. It gives your skin a good clean and leaves it feeling smooth, if you want a deeper clean I would recommend the apricot scrub.

This sweet sunshine in a bottle is such a relaxing yet satisfying scrub!

The scrub itself it's amazing fine grains that you work gently into your face and the smell of grapefruit just lingers through out as you massage it in.

I didn't see results until a week later after using 3times a week.

I have been using it for 1 month now and my skin is alot smoother and clearer!

This would work wonders on any skin type, I guarantee it :)

It is a effective scrub. It has a very small granules wich is perfect for all types of skin,but dry skins shouldn't use it more than 2 times per week because you can feel that it drys a bit. It has a beautiful and invigorating smell.

I like this scrub for a deeper exfoliate every couple of days, I change between this one and st Ives apricot scrub. Smells amazing and really clears and leaves skin smooth and fresh. Doesn’t feel too rough on the skin. I think it does brighten and even out skin. Definitely worth the price you pay as it does a great job and lasted me over a month even with the thick consistency.
