St. Tropez Double Velvet Mitt

I self tan often but I haven’t used a mitt before. Never thought that I needed it. Now that I have tried it I will continue using it. The mitt makes it so much easier to apply and also protects your hands from getting stained. The outside of the mitt is velvety and it feels very nice in your skin when you are applying the tan. The inside is plastic so the product won’t go through, protecting your hands. I can’t believe how easy it was to apply the tan with the mitt, having the double side is really a great help and the final result was an even tan all around as the product was distributed evenly. It was a nice fit for my hands so it didn't slip away. I also like that it is reusable, it just needs to be washed with soap and cold water after every use and it will be ready for next time.

I am a regular user of self tan products but for some reason I never bothered with tanning mitts & was never really tempted to try one. But to be honest, I now can't imagine going back to blending my tan by hand!

The St Tropez Double Velvet Mitt has such a beautiful silky smooth feel, it turns a humble self-tan into a spa-like experience! It is easy to use, with a slightly rubbery inner to prevent it slipping off the hand, is easy to rinse out afterwards & the microfibre material is quick to dry.

Speed of application is always a factor for me, & I feel that it actually helps with this as you can smooth over a bigger surface area more quickly with a mitt. And my tan was beautifully even in a way that made me wonder why I didn't try it sooner! I will most definitely use this product again & for the forseeable future. Highly recommended to anyone who is thinking about it - such a simple investment that is well worth it.

It looks simple but it works so well, helped me get an even covering of product and I found it stayed in place on my hand really well. I really liked the blue colour too.

This is a lovely soft applicator mitt. It has a plastic inner so hands and wrist shouldn't get any product on them . Love that it was slightly longer and covered my wrist, not like other brands I have tried. It really does make coverage once you have sprayed the tan mist, so effortless, and you get a good even coverage. Easy to clean and reuse as It dries fairly quickly. Would recommend.

One thing I love about this mitt is how easy it is to clean. Simply rinse it under water and let it air dry, and you're good to go. And because it's reusable, it's a more sustainable option than using disposable gloves or applicators.

This Mitt does the job, the material is so soft and not too thick so you can actually maneuver the product around and get an even application. This washes up nicely and drys quick,  and stops your hands from being stained. I love the colour the teal is beautiful I wished that it had a wee tag or something that you could hang it off a hook especially when its drying. I love my current Mitt because it has a thumb space but I rather this Mitt for it's thin material the two combined would be perfection.

So I'm a complete novice when it comes to using a Mitt to apply fake tan, therefore I don't have anything to compare this one too. However, all I know is I love it !! Its so soft and easily glides over the skin. It has a waterproof inner, so your hands stay clean which is a big plus for me. I wasn't sure whether to spray the tan water directly onto the mitt and spread on body, or spray the tan water onto body and then spread. So I tried it both ways and guess what, both worked fine. I will definitely continue to use this cute Mitt for application !

This mitt is a great addition to my tanning routine. It made the process so much easier and helped to avoid any streaks or missed spots. The mitt is a very soft fabric that slides easily over your hand. I used it to buff/rub the tan into my body. It's easy to wash after you've used it and I just left it hanging over the tap to dry. Highly recommend this one, really does the trick!

I can’t fault this mitt! It does what it says it will. I used this mitt with the St Tropez bronzing water body mist and given that is colourless, a mitt was really key to making sure I had no streaks. This mitt is soft, easy to use and leak free (none of my tan leaked through the mitt onto my hands). I think this mitt would be essential for buffing in a fake tan and ensuring an even application.
