I used these after my baby and they were the first pads I'd worn in a very long time! They were comfortable, sat well in the post baby nana knickers, absorbed well, no leakage & best of all nice & soft!!

Oh this does make me giggle a bit. One of those "magical" side effects of pregnancy is lochia aka the most epic period ever. It's a total shock to the system after 9 glorious months period free and what's worse, you can't use tampons.
Of the brands I used I liked stayfree the best. I found they stayed in place well despite the lack of wings.
Without crossing the TMI line I'll also say that birth can leave you "tender" and breastfeeding involves a lot of sitting. I found this brand the best for drawing moisture away for increased comfort.
Tips: Try soaking a pad in witchhazel and freezing it's heaven
Great for heavy flow and if you are looking for extra coverage - these are very long which is great. Adhesive isn't particularly great and they are slightly prone to bunching. Never used personally for maternity though just for emergency situations on really bad days. Comparable of those 'surf-board' size pads from the olden days that were held in place with belts. Don't go wearing these with tight jeans/tights or pants they are gonna show!
I used these after I gave birth, and personally I didn't like them. They kept most of the leakage in but I didn't like that there was no wings and I found them too thick and un comfortable. Much preferred the Libra ones
These pads were great. I used them after my waters broke and after the birth of my son. So comfortable especially when you're lying in bed for a few days.
I found these similar to ye old surf board types our mothers bought us at the first period. I was aware of them there and felt insecure without the security of wings! I would use again because they are given free by the hospital but otherwise I buy a different brand once at home!
Righto, so this is one of those things that while pregnant the "do gooders" dont tell you about The need for pads so big and thick you feel like you need to take a running jump to get on them properly and then they move, and bunch and well are just a pain in the a$$ These are kinda like that - but def better than the hospital ones LOL I preferred Libra ones as I found them softer and they stayed in place better However - gotta love the wings!!
Really impressed with this product, did exactly what it suggests and thats a comfort in the days following the birth, the price isn't too bad either, although you do go through these things like its going out of fashion! i always felt as fresh as you can feel (when youve just had a babe!) and would use them with my next one!
Tips: girl boxer/full briefs are perfect for these extra long pads, they are more comfortable than a tighter undie after birth! i even reccomend your mans boxers!! bliss after birth!! lol
I used these after the birth of my son and they did exactly what they should. Even though these are massive and very long they were also soft and comfy after birth. I will definitely be using these again next time. Don't even bother with the ones the hospital provides.
Tips: My midwife suggested I use these against my C-Section scar and they were great padding for it and keeping it dry in the few weeks after birth.
Ok so I know these are for after giving birth but last year I just had the most unusual cycles like I had my mate at least twice a month and very heavy as well, like it's bad enough getting your mate once, let alone TWICE or even THREE on some occassions, but these were my lifesavers, I love using stayfree pads, they look good, good value for your money and most importantly IT DOES THE JOB both after u give birth and even when your flows are just unbelievably too heavy to handle.lolz...
Tips: For they first two or three days (depending) ONLY USE THESE! then as the flow slows down, continue on with another stayfree product :)
