First off yay to Sukin being cruelty paraben and sulphate free (a list of other things free but these are the "biggies" for me) have been using this every second night in conjunction with the Sukin rose hip oil on the other nights. I hate the fact that is comes in a jar grrr I so much prefer pumps more hygienic and easier to get the right amount less wastage etc but anyway.... It's a very thick white cream and it smells like lollies. It's quite sweet not like a regular moisturiser that has a clean and fresh scent to it. I don't find it over powering or off putting. I use about a 20c coin amount but I think this all depends on how dry your skin is and how prone you are to breakouts. I used too much of it at the start and I'm certain it caused a breakout (I did blame the Rosehip oil at first) so very little does go a long way. It is easily absorbed and leaves no sticky, oily or greasy residue just beautifully soft skin.
I have noticed my skin has felt soft even after I have cleansed it off in the morning and the dry patches have all but gone. It's a good average night cream if you have dry skin
I bought this from Farmers with several other Sukin products having not tried the brand before.
I usually go for a lighter fresher night moisturiser but my winter skin tends to get very dehydrated and needs extra moisturiser to feel normal.
The scent is quite strong, so be careful if you have sensitive skin. The oils may also be an issue for some skins. For my dry winter skin this felt really hydrating. I used it at night mixed with some rose hip oil and let it sink in overnight. A two pea sized amount was enough for my whole face and neck.
It's in a jar, which may be a hygiene issue for some, but I ensure my hands are absolutely clean before touching the product. If you are worried you can get a little spatula to scoop the product out.
I bought one of these for my Mum and she loved it too. It's crazy good value - a huge 120 ml, which is unusual for a night cream, and only $25. Worth checking out.
Sukin is also cruelty free and has recyclable packaging, which I really appreciate.
