Updated review after 6 months: I use Sukin certified organic rose hip oil. To be honest it took a really long time to see any changes and they were very slow and subtle. But I carried on with the daily, sometimes twice daily application. And now looking back at 6 months ago before I started, wow I can really tell the difference. I used to get rashes and blotches and patches, which I thought was some kind of an allergic reaction. And scarring from teenage acne too. This has all ben dramatically reduced since using this oil. Its fantastic!! This was my first review of the product: This is the first time I have used Rose hip oil so I cannot compare this product to any other rose hip oil. I have read rave reviews about rose hip oil in general, and I love the Sukin brand so made sense to purchase this product. I have been using this product once a day for the last 6-8 weeks and I cannot see any changes in my skin. I love the smell and the principle of organic rose hip oil, so I will continue to use, and hopefully see results soon.

Tips: Bare with it! Keep going, the results are all to come!
I have never used a Rosehip oil before and I have read so many good things about it. So on a recent trip to farmers I had to buy it. First thing that caught my eye on the box was the things it didn't contain no parabens, no sulphates, no artificial colours or fragrances just 100% certified organic rose hip oil it is also 100% vegan and no animal testing YAY
So it comes in a glass jar with a pipette which is great as you only need the tiniest little amount 2 drops is more than enough to do my face and neck I think any more and it would be too oily and wouldn't absorb.
The first night I tried this I had a major breakout the following morning. Probably a shock to my poor skin since it is usually so dry. So naturally I was a bit apprehensive about trying again but I was determined to get it right. So I have been using it every second night and alternating it with the moisture restoring night cream.
It does take a good few minutes for it to absorb into the skin but when it does i can feel that it has just soaked into the skin it doesn't leave any kind of residue just soft skin I had dry flakey patches that haven't healed and it seems moisturiser only does so much but this has helped heal them and I feel like my skin is slowly starting to feel softer and overall not so dry
Tips: Just keep trying with it if you get breakouts or alternate with moisturiser
I purchased this product to use in conjunction with a Sukin moisturizer and let me say it's fantastic. It exceeded expectations! I can mix it with my bee venom moisturizer and other products and it still moisturizes my skin.
I use it three times a week or when my skin is really dry and needs a little TLC. It's a great product that really works well with my skin! Perfect winter skincare companion!
This is my one and only rosehip oil I have tried - luckily it was gifted to me, really not sure about spending almost $30 - in saying that it lasts for so long so it would be worth every dollar!
It is perfect for my dry skin, even more so during winter. Only a couple of drops mixed in with my blob of facial moisturiser is the perfect amount. It leaves my skin feeling fully moisturised - I prefer to use it at night as it does give off a dewy look. During the day I prefer to use this mixed in with a body moisturiser or hand cream - perfect for dry skin. Also good mixed in with foot cream for cracked heels. I have tried it on its own and found it doesnt spread as easy - I found I have to use more product.
The smell isnt harsh - a light organic scent. The product isnt to thick or thin, and doesnt have an overly oily feel to it although that could be due to my dry skin. I wouldnt recomend for oily skin.
A brown glass bottle with a rubber top with a glass tube, a we squeeze this dropper sucks up the goodies. A small amount is all I need of this certified organic rosehip oil. A soft golden oil not grainy quite heavy but not thick, it has the faintest scent it just smells like olive oil.
This is rich in texture and takes its time to absorb into my skin, but when it does I'm left with soft moisturised skin with a bit of a shine. I mixed a couple of drops with a moisturiser and I had added moisturizing benefits. The best use I found for this was directly on the cracks on my finger tips. No stinging at all the moisturizing and healing I got from using this for extra dry skin is great.
I did find this quite heavy on my face and I did have the odd breakout using it every day so just now and then on the dry patches I had perfect results. Or a we amount applied all over then rinsed off worked really well. This is one I will repurchase for my dry old hands.
Tips: I used this on my dry hands and heals then put a coat of Vaseline over top just to help push the oil in then rubbed it off after ten minutes or so.
If you want a rosehip oil without the big price tag this is it. It's a great dupe for the Trilogy Rosehip oil. This has made a huge difference in my hydration levels and acne scaring. It absorbs really well into the skin, it's also carbon neutral. One of the best rosehip oils I have ever tried.
As much as I love Sukin as a brand, this is as basic as any other rosehip oil on the market. It is of the same concentration and same size as similar priced versions, so really it isn't a big deal if you repurchase this or any of the other ones, I would opt for whatever special is on at the time.
I personally only use rosehip oil when I am run down on the areas of my skin that get dry, especially my lips which are delicate to the colder weather and always chap no matter how much I look after them. I also like to add rosehip oil to hand cream for a deeper treatment once a week, it works wonders if you have hard, dry cuticles, they soften up and keep healthy with this oil added to a regular cream. I have also used this on areas of my skin that have a dry outbreak.
This is a lovely oil that really hydrates my skin overnight. It hasnt really helped with fine lines or skin tone, but I love it nonetheless
Tips: I put a couple of drops of this in with my night moisturiser for deeper hydration
I love rosehip oil and have been using it for years on my face. I have used so many different brands of Rosehip oil over the years, I love the Sukin foaming cleanser so thought I would try this oil. I’m not sure if my bottle was just faulty but the oil does not fill all the way up my dropper and it has a different texture than other oils I’ve used - something about it just didn’t feel right so I am abit disappointed. I wanted to love it and I’m just hoping I got a faulty batch
I read positive reviews and heard good things about this product but unfortunately it is not for me. I tried this over a month (used every second day) and my skin didn't take too well to it and I eventually paid a visit to my GP. I have oily sensitive skin but when using the product I got extremely dry rough patches and then eventually had breakouts where it was sore to touch my face. I personally wouldn't recommend it to others because it claims to help soothe skin conditions but it did the opposite and I do not expect this from any product with 'organic' in its name.
