I used this after using the matching shampoo, it felt nice applying to my hair but I felt like I had to use a lot as I have quite long hair, so because the bottle is quite small I used it up very quickly. My hair is black so I love products that make it shine, but this did not do that at all, it looked the same and felt a little dry, would not repurchase.

What I enjoy about Sunsilk is that it is easily accessible for me to buy. My hair type is dull and lifeless because I do alot of hair straightening. I wanted to give this a go to give my hair shine likd it says it would.
The bottle is a a refish punk coulour. I think this bottle shape is perfect to fit in my hand. I didnt buy this large version of it though, I got the smaller version. I find the consistency of this creamy and smooth. The colour of this is a white creamy colour. The scent of it is sweet with fruit notes.
On application I find it really easy to get out of the bottle. My hair is naturally thick so I need to use alot to make my hair fully saturated in product. When I wash it out feels smooth and soft . After it dries my hair has a slight shine to it but it did go back go being dull. I think my hair requires something stronger. Overall its affordably priced. Bottle last me a couple of weeks with frequent use. I probably wont be using it again at this stage.
It seems like Sunsilk is always on sale at Countdown everytime I go to pick up new Shampoo and Conditioner. This time was no exception and I picked up the Brilliant Shine ones this time. I feel like eventually I'm going to review the whole Sunsilk line!
The packaging of these is quite nice. I really like the bright pink packaging. The bottle curves in in the middle so makes it nice and easy to hold when you are in the shower. The conditioner bottle has the lid at the bottom and it is nice and flat so rests nicely on the shower caddy.
This smells similar to the shampoo in that it is fruity and floral, nice, but I'm happy when my hair doesn't smell like this for long after my shower. I find that it is quite a liquidy conditioner so it goes through my hair easily. When I washed it out of my hair my hair was really smooth and felt great. I think it really does make my hair look shinier and it doesn't weigh it down at all.
I have used this in conjunction with the shampoo and I really do think it made my hair quite shiny and I think it is my favourite of the Sunsilk range so far.
I bought this conditioner with the matching shampoo. It comes in a gorgeous pink, fliptop bottle with Sunsilk branding. The conditioner is a thick white cream, and has the same divine scent as the shampoo - kind-of florally but not in an overpowering way.
I've been applying it after the shampoo every few days to my dry hair. I'm pleased with the result. My hair is clean, soft and hydrated with no flyaways. And it is shiny.
I like it very much. It is one of the best lower-price conditioners I have tried. I recommend trying it.
Tips: Use the shampoo and conditioner together for best results.
This conditioner works really well for my thick, curly hair. I tend to alternate conditioners depending what is on special so haven't used long term. But I did find it good, it was thick enough for my hair and while I do need a lot because I have a lot of hair, it still seems good value and works well.
This smelled like raspberries when I opened it for a sniff test.
The conditioner itself is a white colour that is normal thickness, it pools in hand and shows faint individual drops or lines. After applying the conditioner and waiting about a minute or so I then wash it out. I normally let my hair dry naturally but it goes ok with the hairdryer on occasion. With both the shampoo and the conditioner combined there is a slight increase in shine on my hair.
Price is reasonable at the supermarket and I have already rebought this to use again.
I started my review on the Shampoo side, so this is part 2 of my Sunsilk brilliant shine duo.
Basically I have used up all my Lush hair products and couldn't afford to replace those for a few weeks so I purchased the Sunsilk Brilliant shine Shampoo and Conditioner.
After I have given my hair a thorough wash with the Shampoo I follow in with the conditioner.
I squeeze all the excess water out of my hair, especially at the ends of my hair and then I squeeze a generous amount of conditioner into my hands and work the product only into the ends of my hair. Once I have done that I add more conditioner only to mid length and I clip it up and wait for a few minutes.
In that time I normally exfoliate my face or use a face scrub to make my face nice and fresh too.
I noticed that when I wash the conditioner out of my hair, the shower floor would be extra slippery so please be careful when your rinsing your hair with this conditioner. Just by rinsing out my hair I can already feel a difference in my hair, it feels conditioned and so smooth.
I have been letting my hair dry without heat tools just to give my hair a break. I used to apply serum or oils to the ends of my hair after I have washed it but after using this conditioner there is no need to that day.
It gives my hair a great amount of shine and in the days after washing my hair I only have to apply serum to the ends of my hair and not up to mid length. My hair does get oilier than it used to be, only slightly.
I have already repurchased the Shampoo and conditioner, this is an affordable and fantastic duo for my hair and my budget.
I picked up a bottle of this conditioner when the one I was using was leaving my hair nourished, but dull. Since then, the Sunsilk Addictive Brilliant Shine Conditioner has started to become a must-have product for me. I do supplement it with hair masks and oils but then again I'm rough on my hair, with dyes, heat treatments and daily washes, and so extra TLC will always be necessary.
This conditioner comes packaged in the typical Sunsilk modern concepts design, in a dark raspberry pink colour.
The conditioner itself is white, creamy and mid consistency. In a perfect world, I'd rather it were thicker, but it's cheap enough that you can use a decent handful and work it through.
The conditioner has a pleasant scent - sweet with a touch of something that smells berry-like to me. It doesn't overpower my shower gels etc but seems to tie in nicely with the scents I prefer.
My hair - even when I only use this after my conditioner (I use Sorbet Damage Control) is left soft and silky, after which it cooperates well with my heat stylers. This is a lightweight conditioner, but my hair (which is fine and can be flyaway when over conditioned) responds really well to it. This keeps the colour damage in check, and results in my hair looking and feeling really nice. It's FAR superior to many more expensive salon etc conditioners I have tried, and it's super cheap.
I haven't tried it in conjunction with the shampoo as I'm happy with my shampoo at the moment, but I would definitely consider using the set based on the great reaction my hair has to the conditioner.
Oh - and do I get the addictive, brilliant shine claimed by the title? Yep! I'm happy, anyway.
Tips: Try it! Dirt cheap, and works for me.... why not give it a go?
I always stock up on this conditioner when it's on special, although it's still very reasonably-priced at full price, too! This and the matching shampoo are my favourite hair products by far. The smell is fresh and fruity, and the results are great. My hair is naturally quite shiny, but this conditioner helps control the fly-away frizzy bits, and keeps my wavy locks soft, smooth and shiny. It is easy to apply through long hair, and washes away nicely, leaving no weight or residue.
Tips: The conditioner isn't very thick, so be careful when you open the lid, otherwise you'll end up with more than you need!
I'm one of those people who has a lot of trouble finding a good shampoo/conditioner that works well on their hair without irritating their scalp. My hair is dry, especially at the ends, with an oily scalp and I generally get frizz around the sides and back of my hair above my ears.
I used to use this shampoo and conditioner off and on during the cooler months as it gave me moisturized, shiny hair with less frizz and few side effects. Unfortunately, the new formula leaves me with limp, weak hair with flyaway ends. I found that I had to use a lot more conditioner than shampoo, and the conditioner didn't do much at all for my hair. It also made my scalp super itchy, which I think was caused by the intense fragrance. I wouldn't repurchase this.
