Sunsilk Refresh Hydration Conditioner Review

I usually grab this in my supermarket weekly shop if we are running low on conditioner and if its on special. Its quite budget friendly which is a bonus. It works quite well, leaves hair feeling soft and silky. It performs how a conditioner should. Everyone in the household likes it and it lasts a wee while as we only use a little bit at a time.

We continually repurchase it when its on sale.

I ran out of conditioner one morning and as I live in a small town I only had 4 square to pick something up from. They do not have a huge selection and as I quite like the sunsilk range I grabbed this.

It comes in a small 200ml blue bottle with a flip top lid. It cost around $3. It is a semi thick consistency and has a lovely fresh scent. I have long hair and felt like I had to use a lot to coat every strand. As the bottle is small I didn't get many uses out of it.

I like to let the conditioner sit as I go about my shower. It washes out easily and my hair is left feeling clean and tangle free. Once dry it looks shiny and has some hydration. It didn't really do anything special.

I did not use this with the matching shampoo, perhaps I would get better results if I did. I probably wouldn't purchase this again but would try others in the range.

My partner has been doing our main grocery shop. It’s interesting to see what products he buys . Last week he picked up this sun silk hair conditioner for our whole family. My hair type is damaged with colour.

Bottle size is tall enough to fit in our shower caddy. Packaging light blue bottle nothing fancy. Consistency is smooth creamy with fresh floral scent. Application I like to apply this after shampoo rinse. Afterwards my hair feels soft and smooth .

Price wise it’s affordable for the family. I was surprised at how smooth my hair felt afterwards . Normally that feeling goes away . My hair felt good overall pleasantly surprised.

Like the shampoo, I found this conditioner to be a dud. It did make my hair become not as tangled as it was but it really wouldn't be my kind of conditioner

Good for a casual condition but not heavy enough, thicker consistency would be ideal but good for a light condition.

My hair loved this! I don't know why, but my curls came back and they were silky smooth. This is a conditioner which hydrated my hair while not weighing it down with heavy oils. Definitely one I'll go back to!

I buy the Sunsilk brands quite often in general as they are good value and have many options for different types of hair. I tried the Refresh Hydration Conditioner for the same reasons. I have quite dry hair as I colour it quite often and straighten everyday so I was interested in the Hydration part. I found the conditioner to work well and left my hair feeling soft and hydrated like it said. The product itself though was very runny which made it a bit harder to use. I prefer the thicker more mask like conditioners. Also the product didnt really seem to have the nice conditioner smell you usually get from other Sunsilk products which was a shame.

The scent of this conditioner is nice not too heavy or over powering and I like the natural alternatives in this. I used this over seas when my hair was being exposed to lots of heat and polution it was nice. I did not find my hair greasy I liked the hydration and it is not too rich or too light quite a nice medium hydration type of conditioner. With a medium creamy consistancy. In comparison I have tried the gold one for anti dandruff not that I have it and compared to this one it is too light and does not give that smoothing conditioning feeling that enables you to comb your hair out easily after use. I would probabbly re use the aqua mineral product some time. It did not make my hair feel greasy it felt soft and manage able with a fresh scent that was not too strong. I did not really notice it smelling of lemon perhaps a little mint but if you had not read the description you would not really know it is in there from the scent. Not a bad product compared to others

This was not too good It weighed my hair down and didn't keep my hair smooth or shiny looking It looked a little greasy and the consistency is quite thick It keeps the hair from looking like straw and makes it more manageable in the winter time (brushing/combing) Not that good but the price is nice

Purchasing the shampoo I brought the conditioner at the same time. The conditioner was very thin, meaning more ended up on the shower floor then my hair. Normally My hair feels smooth and silky while conditioning. however this one made it feel quite ruff. It dried my hair out and did not hydrate at all. I normally love sunsilk but this one I would never buy again
