I have used tampax applicators for years, but recently they changed to the pearl brand and changed the applicator design which I found a little bit more trickier to use than the old ones. Its only slightly more awkward, but I still noticed the difference.

I so dislike this product I didnt like when u pull the cord its all fluffy It felt weird inside me didnt like the feeling wouldnt buy again :(
During my time of the month I like to try different sanitary products. Im normally a pad girl but when I need something compact and lightweight for travelling. My cycle starts isn't too heavy thankfully for my mirena device. Without it Im normally heavy. My cycle last up to 3 days.
These come in a Box. Quite large compared to others I've tried. These come in packets. This applicator is simple to use. The tampon itself I was expecting it to be smooth coated to bring that Pearl feeling. But that wasn't the case. Just like your normal every day tampon. The pearl is in the wrapping silly me lol.
I found it easy to apply. I didnt have any leakage surprisingly enough. Normally I need to wear a panty liner underneath just in case but not this time. I dont like to wear these longer than two to three hours before changing. I found it semi comfortable.
I probably wouldnt purchase these again I found they just didn't feel comfortable like my Kotex ones Im used to using. Perhaps a smaller packaging as well would be handy for travel.
I was caught out unexpectedly when Aunt flow came early and had to send my boyfriend to the nearest shop, much to his dismay he went but obviously didn't listen to what I asked for and came back with these lol.
I hadn't used this brand since my teenage years and an applicator just doesn't really appeal to me. However needs must so I soldiered on and used them. They come individually wrapped and in a huge box.
They are comfortable to wear and do what they are supposed to but I just hate the applicator. I find it unnecessary and fiddly to use and even more rubbish to dispose of. I ended up just pushing the tampon out so I didn't have to use the applicator. They are also very big and not discreet at all, I prefer something I can pop in my pocket without the world seeing.
To me these seem outdated or aimed at teenagers. I won't make the same mistake of being caught out again. They are good but just not for me.
I was so sad that the Pearl had replaced the Compax because I loved the Compax so much but had no option but to suck it up and give the Pearl a go. I knew the applicator was similar to the Compax (plastic) so I thought they couldn't be all that bad. Insertion is the same and it glides in which is great however it did leak and didn't hold my flow well compared to the Compax (same size) which I was disappointed about. I also don't like how the sizing of the applicator is not discreet compared to the Compax so I choose to use another brand and if that one is not on special then I'll opt for the Pearl.
These are defiantly the easiest tampons to use yet i do not buy them. They are a waste as each applicator is made from plastic and they're single use. These were great when i was younger and had to use tampons often as i swum lots and couldn't do the regular ones at first. If i needed an applicator i would just buy the cardboard ones, they don't look as nice as these do but still do the job.
I like that they change shapes to fit you perfectly, but they tend to 'collapse' as you're inserting them! The applicator is really to use though, I never use them but I didn't want them to go to waste.
These are ones I used to use when I was younger, they are well known and do the job well. The packaging is blue and white and stands out for the brand.
Overall these are good tampons and have applicators to make it easy to use. They are reliable and also absorbent.
These days these aren’t my preferred brand as I normally go for Kotex, but if my preferred brand wasn’t available I would definitely go back to them.
Four stars from me. Reliable and well known.
I normally use ordinary Tampax, so thought I'd give these a try, but I don't like that the applicator is plastic, rather than flushable, so you have to wrap it and put it in the bin. I also find that that strong on these is much longer that ordinary Tampax, which I don't like. I didn't notice any difference in absorbency either. I prefer the original version of Tampax tampons.
All that plastic being thrown away these are no better than the cardboard applicator variants and they aren't that amazing either.
