Thayers Cucumber Alcohol-Free Toner with Witch Hazel Aloe Vera

Wow! I got to try the cucumber fragrance and I'm hooked!

The packaging is simple and it's large size means it'll last a while before having to replace it. The lid is easy open with a small tip squirter/pourer inside allowing a smooth great control of product onto my make up pad.

The scent is OK, definitely cucumbery, I'd love to try some of the other scents to see if I prefer them, but overall the scent isn't unpleasant.

Now my skin.... wow! Not only have I seen the visibly smoother hydrated skin this product claims to do but I've also noticed pores appear smaller, and my skin tone is definitely more even. It feel so soft!! All in just one week of morning and night use! I've also seen benefits from the wotch hazel in that I haven't gotten my usual hormonal breakout with that time of the month. I'm a definite Thayers toner convert, go get some!

The smell won me over instantly but I really enjoyed the whole experience of using this toner. It made my skin feel soft and helped my skintone even out. I liked how gentle it was, I am happy to have discovered it because so many toners these days have lots of chemicals but that's what I have serums for. I'll definitely be repurchasing!

I use this facial toner after I have cleansed and removed my makeup, then I use it with a cotton pad on my face and neck, and then I follow with my serums, etc. I love that I can incorporate it into my normal face routine easily. I have noticed that it also has removed more makeup that I thought it had washed away, so it feels super clean but still not dry. I have noticed that my skin looks smoother and cleared up some stubborn acne. It definitely helps to remove any excess oil or dirt from my face. It's great to use when you just need a touch-up and feel fresher. This toner is something I will definitely purchase when this has run out, absolutely a fan of this one!

I've been using this toner every morning and night since I received it for review and it has been very refreshing and soothing on my skin. My skin is very sensitive (eczema) and it has not had any adverse reactions so far. I've found that my skin feels more moisturised which will be great in winter. The aloe vera in this toner will also be very handy in summer for the inevitable sunburn! The scent is like cucumber and smells quite natural which is a nice change from artificial fragrances. The bottle is quite large and seems like it will last for a long time. The instructions say to apply with a cotton pad but I found it works just as well by squirting toner into your hands and applying to the face - less waste that way. Overall would definitely recommend to anyone, I love it and will definitely be buying another bottle when this one (eventually!) runs out

The bottle is quite striking but I'm a bit of a sucker for things that look they've been around for years! It's kind of reassuring that they are good - and this is.

It's got a typical toner consistency - like water! But the flip top lid with a small opening means ots goes only where you direct it not everywhere!

Pop some on a (reasuable) cotton pad and wipe - easy as that but so different from any other toner I've tried. I was a little worried by the witch hazel element (strong smell, skin feeling on fire and tight) but there was no of that. It left my skin clean and feeling moisturised.

The smell is lovely - just pure cucumber and not the chemically version.

I've been using this twice a day for nearly two weeks and haven't used very much at all so for $16-$17 it seems like it will be very good value.

I always have red patches, I go red at the drop of a hat but it really seems to have helped with that. I had a family bereavement during the trail and had a very red puffy face and eyes and it dramatically helped reduce that - even in my eyes! And yes, probably not designed to be used on eyes, but there was no stinging or soreness!

I would absolutely recommend this. I'll be hunting it (and the other versions) down to buy!

I really enjoy using this facial toner. First impressions were that this product is fresh, clean and smells like cucumber - so wholesome! My skin feels clean, hydrated and primed for application of serums and creams when I apply this with a cotton pad after cleansing. I like the packaging - the bottle is see through and strong. The product is cruelty free and natural. There is no alcohol in this toner, so it is not drying. It contains no nasties, so it ticks all the boxes. From a price point - it is super affordable. I have received this bottle for a beauty review. My first impression was the smell of cucumber. I asked my husband who didn't know about the product and he told me it was a cucumber. Smells nice and soft. I know cucumber does not smell wow, but it is delicious, isn't it? I do not drink the toner, okay. Then I started to use it in my night routine as a cleanser, after washing my face, I use it as a second step in my routine. My skin type is oily, and I don't have any bad reactions or anything with it. The toner is very gentle. I use cotton balls and apply them only over my T-zone. My skin did not produce more oil during the night as with other toners for oily skin. It really feels fresh and clean. I like it. I have seen this product in pharmacies, and I think, will buy more in the future, it is not expensive. The bottle has 12onz 355ml. Worths the money. This toner is nice for every type of skin. I would like to try this in the summertime. I would recommend using this when you have done exercise and need to clean the sweat on your face, use a little bit and remove it with your face towel gently.

Oh, this is a definite winner! I never bothered with a toner before but that was a mistake. This toner makes such a difference! It immediately showed results as my skin appeared much smoother, brighter and even tighter after the first application. My pores are noticeably smaller and my face feels so fresh! I stopped using it for a day and noticed it. The cucumber didn't smell as nice as I imagined but that's ok as it doesn't linger. I love the look of the label, it's different. The cap looks a bit cheap but that is fine as it does the job and the price is low. The bottle is strong and the lid is secure and won't leak. It's a big bottle so should last a long time. I like that the tip is small as the toner is runny like water. It does sting my face a bit whenever applying but the feeling goes away quickly. It makes my skin very sticky but that also goes away as soon as I apply my moisturizer. You don't need to use it a lot as it spreads easily. The price appears to be in the same range as other toners at the department store. I can't compare it to other brands as I haven't tried any before but I have to mention that I won't be either as I love the Thayers Toner! I would recommend this to a friend as it does what it claims and surpassed my expectations.
