After years of hearing about these I finally brought one. After watching some you tube videos to work it how to use it I found it difficult to blend with and much prefer to use brushes. I just could not get the blending in correct. I will give it a chance and keep trying as so many get great results. If your a rookie to makeup I would recommend some assistance on how to use correctly.

Tips: Make sure to clean regularly. Use slightly damp as recommended.
For years and years all I had seen on Instagram, YouTube, Facebook were Beautyblenders! Hundreds of thousands rave about them so so much. So when I travelled overseas I figured I’d buy one and allow it to change my life in how my makeup way being applied.
But what a let down, there are so so many ‘dupes’ in terms of beauty sponges I felt as if I had already tried the beauty blender and paying almost $30 for a real one seems far too much. For MUCH less I usually use the $4 KMart marble effect teardrop sponges - that have an almost identical feeling.
I also found the beauty blender was more prone to damage and ripping while cleaning compared to other brands and cheaper beauty sponges in the same conditions.
Tips: Find yourself a cheaper alternative. $30 on a sponge that should be thrown out every few months is far too much!
Any makeup collection must include the original Beauty Blender. This one-of-a-kind teardrop-shaped sponge is made to be used wet, which makes it easier to apply makeup flawlessly. The sponge is safe for all skin types because it is comprised of a latex-free, hypoallergenic substance. Applying foundation, concealer, and powder is a breeze with the Beauty Blender, which helps with blending the makeup into the skin. It is also reusable and simple to clean, making it a sustainable option. All things considered, the Beauty Blender is a fantastic purchase for anyone seeking to produce a natural-looking makeup finish.
I fell into the sponge craze but prefer brushes for the simple reason their easier to clean. I could not wash this sponge and feel confident it was actually clean or dry enough in the middle
I love this product. Makes my foundation go on flawlessly and creates a more dewy looking finish. Although its a bit hard to clean it is really nice. Just worried about bacteria and germys getting to it.
I really enjoyed using the beauty blender, it makes your makeup look more natural and even. To be honest I can't tell the difference in use between the beauty blender and the chichi sponges
Tips: Make sure it is quite wet
This beauty blender is amazing! It makes my morning routine so much quicker and faster, as well as giving my face a smoother look. The only problem that I had is that the colour came off of the container and won't come out of the beauty blender, but this is probably my fault rather than the product...
I have heard many mixed reviews on the beauty blender, and I have found that whenever I am applying foundation or concealer, it soaks the product up quite quickly so I have to use a lot of product for full coverage. However, I do think that the beauty blender is much easier to apply than if using a brush, and makes my morning routine a lot less time consuming!
This is a great tool for blending foundation if used properly (make sure it’s damp.) The original is definitely the best - I’ve tried cheaper imitations which don’t work nearly as well. One thing I would say is that it’s not easy to store and keep clean at the same time. Best to keep the plastic container that it comes in for storage.
Tips: I suggest cleaning it regularly.
I added this beauty blender in my first Sephora haul . I wanted to see what the fuss is about with this blender. I read many great reviews about it . I’m a fan of beauty blender and have tried a few over time .
Texture of this blender is super soft . Softer than any other blenders I’ve tried in the past . Blender it’s self needs water or setting spray to make it work . Blender itself has a sponges texture feels off .
Application it seems to spread product out evenly . Build up coverage nicely . It also seems to be sucking up quite a bit of product too .
Overall the price is a bit steep. If I had to choose I would prefer to go back to my real techniques blender over this one . It’s way over hyped . I can’t see myself purchasing this again in the future.
