I have been using thin lizzy for years. I wouldn't rave about it but I will still use it. I don't really wear foundation but put a little bronzer on each morning before going to work. I find it rubs off too easily on clothing etc. I don't use much. I may not buy another one but want something to replace it with. What is another option???? Has anyone out there tried share cover????

I think every NZ girl/woman has dabbled in Thin Lizzy at some point in their life! I use this as a bronzer and eyeshadow, rather than put it all over my face. It definitely has some colour and some staying power. It's pretty helpful to get your skin tone matched by the professionals (Farmers often has Thin Lizzy people there to help you) as it can look a bit wild if you go a shade darker than you should!
Tips: Get your own brush - the bristles of the one that comes with the compact are too prickly for me!
I used this product a lot in my teens, it was a great way to add colour to my skin and it came with a gloss and an eyeliner which was all I needed. I would be willing to give it another go as from memory it served me well. It is definitely over hyped it's not a 6 in 1 it's just a nice bronzer.
i was really excited to use this and was kinda disappointed with it really. looks good when your first apply but i found it wore off and i had to keep applying thru the day.
I actually really like this bronzer, but just as that! It's definitely not a 6 in 1 product. I find it gives me a nice bronzed colour, doesn't come out orange on me at all. This product (the light shade) personally works great for me and lasts all day.
Tips: Use sparingly.
I don't think it is THAT bad. I mean I wouldn't use it as a foundation because of its colour (I use it as a bronzer - I don't want my whole face to be that dark) so the whole 6 in 1 thing is a bit extravagant but I do use it.
I use mine as a bronzer/ top quick fluff over my face after I have put on my foundation just for a bit of colour/definition on my cheeks. It works well for me like this and I would reccommend it for this purpose.
I went through a stage of using it as an eyeshadow when I was younger but you need to get a separate applicator. I just used the brush like they do in the adds and its ridiculous to be honest. Went all the way up to my eyebrows with one swipe, which was less than ideal.
A positive is you get heaps of other freebies in the pack such as a eyeliner, pencil sharpener and lipgloss.
I was a fan of this in my late teens early 20's. It is more a bronzer than a foundation. It is really only a good deal if you know someone else wanting one and you can go halves as you get 2 of everything. I don't mind the stickiness of the lip gloss either.
Honestly, a little goes a long way. I find that I have to buff it out with a kabaki to dull it out on my skin. It can look a little bit muddy at times. I feel as though after I've buffed everything out it gives a nice glow and contour. It is a little bit of effort though, so not the best when you are in a rush.
Tips: Buff buff buff
I do like this powder however I can only wear it on my legs, as I found putting it on my face made me look orange (even tho I put it on lightly), and after using it for a while my face broke out. I would not use it on my lips with lip gloss as it is far to orange for me.
I used it over a couple of years, depending how my skin was behaving on any given week it had a different effect. Yes it gave me a gentle glow and evened out my colour, but also gave me blackheads that were difficult to keep on top of. By the afternoon I looked shiny and greasy so defiantly didnt have a lasting effect for a ful work day. I tried a couple of time to re-apply after a few hours but ended up just looking to dark and over done. So I'd only use it if I was out for a couple of hours at a time and then wash straight oaff when I got home.
Tips: Stick to using on legs to hide that winter brightness lol, and great for using mixed with a little lip gloss for a natural look
