I'm a fan of the Concealer, But the 6 in 1 is a whole different story. Felt so orange and gross after using it so now I use it to contour..
6 in 1? Definitely not. However I do like it as a bronzer.
I could never imagine using how they do in the advertisements.
It comes with a eyeliner and lipgloss which I always throw away.
I like this as a bronzer or eyeshadow and that is all sadly. As a foundation, even when i am tanned, this does nothing for me. Does not cover any blemishes and makes me look more like an oopma loompa no matter how light i put it on. Works wicked as a bronzer for the cheeks and neck etc or as an eyeshadow though!
I like Thin Lizzy but only over the top of foundation, not alone as doesnt cover my flaws like it claims to do. It does even out my skin tone though i find. I use the dark one in summer but the lighter one in Winter. So overall i like it but isn't as good as they advertise.
Gosh I bought this in my mid 20's ,I always hated foundations, until a friend showed me this, I saw how easy it was to apply and it gave a subtle look of makeup without being overly done. For me it was a good starting point, its easy to use, the compact itself lasted a really really long time and its really minimal coverage so its hard to stuff up and put too much on (though it won't hide blemishes too well on its own). Nor is it messy at all. I got the tin that came with 2x everything, used the first compact, started the 2nd and eventually moved on to other things.Their actual foundation is better for me now (the pink compact). This would be a good start for teenagers who are starting to explore makeup :)
Tips: For ladies who are already very makeup savvy I probably wouldn't recommend this, it really is better used as a jumping off point for newbies.
I recieved this in a goody bag a few years ago and I found it difficult to use the six ways it states. I would not purchase it or use it on my own accord.
The "light" kit made me feel orange and did not provide much coverage if any, just added colour. The lipgloss was VERY sticky and gloopy. The eyeliner was okay. The mineral foundation by Thin Lizzy is a MUCH better choice and I believe the mineral powder is the product to buy if you're purchasing thin lizzy.
Tips: Go towards the mineral foundation by thin lizzy
This product claims to be a great all rounder. However the added shimmer in this product makes it difficult to use it in a variety of ways. As an all over bronzer to warm the face it is perfect the light reflecting particles create a luminous effect!! But the shimmer makes this product very limiting, you cannot contour with a shimmery colour as it defeats the purpose of contouring - to create the illusion of a hollow. The shimmer just brings attention to it instead. The colour of this bronzer is also quite orange which means you have to be extra careful when applying it to fair skin to ensure you don't end up looking orange.
Tips: Use very sparingly as an all over face bronzer to warm up you complexion and maybe as an eyeshadow.
So widely advertised… but I have always struggled to get a balanced look with this! In the end I resorted to using it as a bronzer for my ‘décolletage’. I would still love to get an even coverage out of this baby.
This is not that great for fair skin, if you use it and you have fair skin you need to go very light handed with it, otherwise it can leave you looking orange.
