This little bottle of oil is amazing, it has a million different uses and you litlary only need a couple of drops for any requirement. I use it for itchy bites, pimples, cuts and scrapes. It seams to work with in only a minute with my itchy bites. It's absolutly amazing. And I love how your able to pick it up from the supermarket instead of having to go to the chemist which isn't always open when you need it to be.
Always have this in my house as it so versatile! I use it all the time for pimples which it works great for, takes the redness down and helps with the really painful ones. Also great for my daughter who gets hives every now and then. Love that its natural, always gravitate towards natural products where I can.
Everyone needs this product, whether it be for insect bites, pimples, burns or cuts. It works wonders for all of the above!
It dries out pimples really well and disinfects insect bites. It really helps soothe burns and cuts (although it stings at first contact). Only downside is strong smell which I'm sure you'll be able to look past due to the benefits!
Tips: Use cotton buds/pads to prevent the smell lingering on your hands.
Love Thursday Plantation tea tree oil it's a great antiseptic and basic natural first aid item. I use this alot if I get inflamed skin and it works great. It has a really strong scent.
Tips: Dilute with water in a small spray bottle and spray on face and problem skin areas.
I remember feeling so iffy about buying something so small for $10, like is it even worth it? And the correct answer is: YES. This product is so amazing! Not only do you need the smallest quantities when using it (just a dew drops or less), but its effectiveness is rapid and long-lasting.
I only ever use this for when I have really bad break-outs which is very rare and by the next day the pimple has drastically reduced in size and sometimes even disappear altogether. The only somewhat negative feature is that the smell is super strong and can be nauseating, but I feel that the benefits greatly outweigh the one minor setback.
Any kind of product with tea tree oil in it is amazing for your skin, so the fact that this is 100% pure, you know you're only getting the best. Highly recommend it as it is such a great investment. I've had my bottle for over 2 years and it's barely 1/5 finished (plus it expires in late 2018 so awesome shelf life!).
I had acne as a teenager and still as 30 year old have regular breakouts on my face. I have tried every spot treatment under the sun it seems but sometimes it pays to go simple and natural. This is absolutely brilliant dabbed onto the face with a cotton tip as a spot treatment for pimples. There is an initial sort of stingy-warm feeling as it sits on the blemish but this disappears quite quickly. As far as I can tell there is no magic wand acne product that will make a pimple disappear overnight but this is as good as it gets in terms of taking the inflammation down and helping the blemish start to heal. I do think this leads to a little less dry skin around the blemish as it heals than other spot treatments which is a bonus.
This is also fantastic in a spray bottle with some water as a head-lice deterrent for school age kids if you are unlucky enough to have to worry about that with your kids!
I always have this in the cupboard. I put a drop or two in the leave in detangler for the kids to deter head lice, I put a dash in the sock/underwear wash, I use it in the oil burner during times of cold/illness, in the mop bucket clean the floor, a drop in a bucket of water to soak my feet. I also put a drop in with my gentle liquid handsoap rather than buying the antibacterial, harsher one for much of the same effect. It's very strong so a little goes a long way and it seems to last forever.
Tips: It can be quite strong so be careful- I put it on a cystic pimple once and it sort of burnt my skin! Big dry patch and very sore pimple- maybe I put a little much on in my aggressive attempt to kill the pimple from hell.
I use this exclusively after I've popped a pimple (I know, I know! I shouldn't, I KNOW!!) as it has antiseptic properties as I wouldn't like to get an infection. It heals quite nicely after application. I find it doesn't really do much if you apply it to pimples, it doesn't speed up the normal life cycle of the pimple or anything. I still prefer something with salicyclic acid for that. A little goes a long way and I've had my tiny bottle for a year now and have barely made a dent in it. Some people find the smell a bit offensive but I actually quite like it :)
I have used this product for so long and this brand is great quality for a great price. It also lasts so long!
Some of the things I regularly use it for include; pimple spot treatment, a few drops in with sports washing, mixed with aloe vera for problem skin areas, with water in a spray bottle as a lice deterrent for the kids, insect bites and also repellent, the list goes on!! I always have a bottle on hand.
Tips: It can irritate skin so blend with aloe, water or a carrier oil for large areas. Use a cotton bud to apply directly to spots.
