It's cheap from the supermarket and you use it for a long time. Love tea tree smell, almost therapeutic when doing my night routines before bed. I use it mainly for pimples which helps keep it clean and dries it out. I go to this as soon as I feel a pimple coming along which helps keep it down or make it go away.

Have used this stuff for a few years now and it works quite well. I used to use it for pimples but I found that it was a little too drying for my sensitive skin. What I really like this product for is mixing it with filtered water and using it to clean piercings. I used to use the cleaning stuff they sold at the piercing shops but I found that this product works even better and haven't had any irritation or infection since using it.
Tips: Mix with half water to use for cleaning piercings.
I use this to add into my shampoo and it significant decreased the amount of dandruff I have. I also love the smell of it, and love the way my hair feels so clean afterwards
This is the first time I have ever used tea tree oil before. I am really glad and thankful that I got chosen by BR to review this product. My first impression was that I had a wee bit of trouble opening the lid (kiddy lock) which is a bit silly of me, I thought it was a really good idea to have a kiddy lock on it as it is an oil and if swallowed can be dangerous. It is good that people who have kids would have to lock this bottle up or put it up in a high place. When I got the lid open I found that the smell was very strong. I had only ever smelt tea tree oil in a really mild form. When I first put the tea tree oil on my face I found that it was a stingy on my face. I thought it would go away after the first time but everytime I use it it stings, it is bearable though. I found that it is a difficult to gauge how much you need because you think you don't have enough on your hands to apply it but it spreads easily and the reason for this is because it is really light so it feels like you haven't got any of the product. It has helped with my acne but the tea tree oil doesn't work straight away, it takes a few days for me to notice a change in my acne. I don't think it has helped with the redness on my face. I have also used the tea tree oil on the SEVEN!! Insect bites that I have on my one foot. I have found that it had helped my bites heal and has stopped them from itching after apying the oil. I would love to continue using the tea tree oil and see what it does with my acne and to see if it will help reduce redness on my face. I would also be very interested to see how it works with cuts. I like that it is 100% tea tree oil and I think because of this, the price for a bottle is reasonable. I don't really enjoy the smell of it, it is very strong but for me it is bearable. I like that it can have many different uses so it is a good product to have in anyone's and everyone's medication cupboard. I would purchase this product again but for me I do not think it is a necessity or a must have.
Tips: Apply only a small amount, a little goes a long way. Be careful applying it around your eyes because it can sting!! Apply it every night before bed time. Wash your hands after!
I used this on acne spots whenever I would have a worse-than-normal breakout. It seemed to reduce swelling and clear the breakout faster. However as I would put this on before bed I would often find the scent overwhelming and found it hard to get to sleep. It could also sting very bad occasionally. Overall, it is a very good product.
I purchased this tea tree oil as i’m quite prone to mosquito bites.. and read in a few articles that it’s a great household antiseptic.
I found it was quite soothing for those unbearably itchy mozzy bites... however.. the smell of the oil was a bit too strong for my liking... so i tend to use it at night after shower, before bed.
A good thing is that it’s not overly expensive... but i didn’t use it for other purposes apart from my bites... and a little goes a long way.. so eventually it expired before i managed to finish the bottle... which was a little bit wasteful. Although the bottle was quite small already... i probably need a even smaller miniature bottle hahaha =D.
Next time i buy it, i shall read up on what else i can use it for to ensure it wouldn’t go to waste.
Absolutely do not use this on your face without diluting it with water. It will damage your skin! The smell is very strong, but I liked it. It's very good for itchy bites, swelling, acne etc. Pretty affordable and easy to find at the local supermarket too!
Tips: Dilute with water or other oil before applying.
I use this on my face with break out and it helps the break out dry out overnight. Just use a cotton tip with a drop or two on it and just rub in it on to the break out spot. This also smells good.
Tips: Have a clean face when using it as a spot treatment.
I use tea tree oil for acne. Doesnt really work though as the pimple doesnt dry out and still comes to a head
I have really enjoyed using this product! It is a 'go-to' when I have spots, flare-ups, or acne on my face and skin. The smell isn't too overpowering and it doesn't dry out my skin (I have very dry and sensitive skin). Works like magic overnight, after doing my skin routine. I always keep a bottle of this in my bathroom!
Tips: I find using a cotton bud is easiest for application and prevents too much oil pouring out. Once the cotton bud is damp I dab the product on affected areas.
