The deodorant's packaging has the typical aesthetic of a Thursday Plantation Tea Tree product; a white container with lime yellow labels. The deodorant is a roll on, and the label completely covers the tube, so you cannot see how much product is remaining through the plastic. The scent of this product is what it says; tea tree, which is definitely a scent that is not for everyone. Although I enjoy the smell of tea tree, I didn't quite realise that it would be an unusual sensory experience to have tea tree smelling armpits and sweat! The deodorant scent is just straight tea tree with no other fragrance seemingly added, and it's a strong scent. I wasn't a fan of how after applying this I could strongly smell it on me, although I want roll on to make my armpits smell decent, I don't want the scent to overpower everything else I am wearing and clash with my perfume and body lotion. The other thing is, is that I didn't realise I strongly associate the smell of tea tree with medicinal products and acne products, so everytime I wear this I keep wondering why I smell like acne wash and have to remember its just my pits! To be fair, the product does promise to be tea tree scented, but the fragrance is very very strong, and I didn't quite realise how unusual it would be to have tea tree fragranced armpits, so just a warning! However, regardless of whether you like the VERY strong tea tree fragrance of the roll on (trust me I've never had other roll ons smell so strong), this just didn't work at keeping stinky armpits at bay. I'm not typically an overly sweaty person, and I find any old over the counter roll on usually works well applied once in a day and I never need reapplications or feel that I am starting to stink, unless I go to work out. However, with this, I have to apply it several times in one day because I can smell myself starting to smell like B.O after only a couple hours, even if I have been doing absolutely nothing to work up a sweat. This may be because it is aluminium free, I'm not sure. I just find this simply doesn't do the job, and I end up smelling bad whenever I use this and like B.O, which has never happened with any other deodorant. I wouldn't use this again as it just didn't work sadly for my pits.

I brought this deodorant to try when making the switch to more natural options. I found it way too sticky and it took ages to dry. It also caused a burning sensation after shaving so was not ideal to use at that time. The scent was pleasant but didn't last long, only a few hours max. It did keep body odor away but didn't keep me dry at all.
Ok I purchased this deodorant way too much because it is often the only affordable choice at supermarkets but it is not effective at all. First of all the strong smell of tea tree is too medical and not pleasing. It stings badly when applied on newly shaved armpits. It doesn't protect from odor at all literally after an hour of applying I can smell myself. The only good thing is it does last long. The price is good too. Maybe good for wearing at home but hard pass when I am out.
Although this deodorant claims to be ok to use after shaving don’t! Weirdly for a natural aluminium free deodorant it stings and inflames my pits if I use within about 2 days of shaving! It smells great. Like tea tree which others may not like. But unfortunately makes my underarms itch like I’ve got fleas and does for a couple of days even after I stop using.
I love the idea of a natural scent free deodorant as it's so good for your body with less chemicals and nasties but this one just didn't do it for me. I found it didn't mask the odour well as I could smell my odour half way through the day with other deodorants I don't so this was a big no no. Love the idea but still needs work.
This smells extremely strong which is unpleasant and it doesn't do a great job. Threw it out unfortunately.
I switched from anti-perspirant roll on to Thursday Plantation Tea Tree deodorant after developing contact dermatitis in my armpits after shaving. I thought the tea tree oil would help calm my skin and clear up the dermatitis.
While it has a strong tea tree smell upon application, this quickly wears off and the roll on needs to be applied every four hours to prevent body odour. Working with clients all day, this was not ideal or convenient for me, and I was paranoid about body odour. The one day I couldn't reapply frequently, and I did smell awful by the end of the day.
Another thing I wanted to mention, is that this roll on stings badly. It takes two to three minutes for the stinging feeling to go away after applying, and for the formula to dry on the skin.
Personally, I would not recommend, and will not be repurchasing. I have since switched to using Nivea Sensitive Protect Anti-Perspirant.
Tips: Reapply frequently during the day to prevent odour
Now I'm not a wiffy person and i try to use products that are friendly to my skin and as chemical free as possible. This is why I chose this product. I loved the smell when I applied it and it felt cool on my skin, but after about four hours i felt self conscious that I didn't smell like my normal clean professional self. It wasn't bad enough for anybody else to notice but it was enough for me to want to keep my arms by my side and jump in the shower at my first opportunity. I wouldn't mind but it wasn't even summer and I hadn't been to the gym. Its a shame as I have chosen to go back to my chemical roll on but smelling good for the whole day is important to me so that was my compromise, I guess I need to keep looking.
Tips: Might be ok for a couple of hours but only if you are sitting still
I purchased this on sale for $2.50 or $3 from Countdown when I did my last fortnightly shopping. I was super excited as I needed a new deodorant that does not test on animals (although Thursday Plantation is not a CF accredited company due to the parent company not filing the status no animal testing is carried out on their products.)
Smells very strongly of tea tree oil as that is the main ingredient, it has taken some getting used to. Still not my favourite scent though.
I found it very surprising when this did not last all day like I expect my deodorants too. I work long days at a desk and this deodorant had worn off after 7 hours, which is just not good enough. I positively smell, which I assume if I can smell me everyone else can do.
Disappointing for an all natural product, I figured it would work better as there is no nasties but that is not the case with this product. Will not be repurchasing.
Tips: Might be useful if you are having a lazy day at home and will not be seeing anyone.
I really love natural products and I love the Thursday Plantation brand so decided to give this deodorant a go. It was on special for $6 which is a bit more than what I usually pay.
It comes in a standard roll on deodorant bottle with the Thursday Plantation labeling. Simple but I like it. I find it is quite a thin consistency which I am not used to. Also it takes a long time to dry which is really annoying for me.
Now the smell, I love deodorants that smell good and this is far too strong smelling for me. Almost overpowering and certainly not what I want to smell like. I like tea tree but not when that is all I can smell.
I applied this after my shower and went to work. It did not stop me from sweating and after a hard days work I had pit odour lol and I never get this. I know it is not described as an antiperspirant but I thought it would work a bit better than it did. For me it was not good and I will stick to my dove deodorant.
