TonyMoly Appletox honey cream Review

I got this little gem in one of my MEME box purchases (Apple Mojito), and I have to say from the minute I used it I feel in love! I thought the packaging was really creative - I keep it on my bathroom basin and always get questions about it from visitors. It also smells great - like apple sauce but it is not overpowering at all. The cream also does what it promises to do - nourish and hydrate your skin. When applied, it doesn't feel heavy at all and my skin feels refreshed after putting it on. The product states that it is good for dry skin but I reckon it's great for all types (I have combination skin).

I highly recommend it to everyone.

I was super lucky to receive this as a gift, I'd been planning on purchasing after trying samples so was very lucky and happy to get given it!

The packaging is very adorable! An apple container with a screw top lid. It has a spatula so you don't have to contaminate with your fingers. I would totally reuse the pot!

It comes with a generous amount and a little goes a long way. It is a pale yellow, gel liquid like formula, quite unique to anything I've tried. For me if absorbs nicely into my skin. And of course, the scent! I love apple scented products!

My skin has been feeling and looking great since using this. I use it at night as a night cream. I feel it has balanced my skin and I haven't had any break outs since using this. For reference I have normal-dry skin.

I would definitely recommend this product!

I quite often get bored of face creams after half use and think is this ever going to finish but NOT with this!

I was lucky enough to purchase this off a friend, I had brought the hand cream first to see what the craze of Tony Moly products were about. So after that I had to try the face cream!! This is not only the cutest face cream container you will ever see... Its also has the most yummiest smell to go with it.

First impressions when opening the pot and seeing a pale yellow gel like texture was omg how do I get this out without making a mess but the awesome thing about it, its a screw lid with a extra cover and comes with a small spatula to scoop the product out without sticking ya fingers in and getting dirt in there. You don't need a lot and a small amount goes along way. My skin feels refreshed and moisturized all day without drying out. I have found so light to wear, its been fantastic to have under my BB cream. I don't realize ive got product on my face.

I received this Late last week from a lovely friend. Reading up on it I was very excited to see it had honey in it as I have an obsession with honey in skin are,heck I've even applied natural honey to my face as a mask before(great but drips EVERYWHERE!) Anywhoo, I wasted no time in using this. It stung as I had just exfoliated(won't do that again) but it did leave my skin feeling baby butt soft and boy was it hydrating! ThE second time I used it , I didn't exfoliate and didn't suffer the burning sensation I had the first time( thank goodness ). The texture was a little odd being a gel like formula at first and felt a tad tacky on the skin . I prefer to use this at night as I feel it's a bit too hydrating to use under my makeup. it has a gentle apple scent which I love,weird because usually Apple scents put me right off! The packaging is cute and appealing and comes with a screw top lid, it is shaped and coloured like and apple. It comes in a pot with a little spatula for those out there that don't like tainting a product with their fingers. Honestly this is gold in an apple jar and there is absolutely nothing bad I can possibly say about it.

I had extremely dry patchy skin from travelling a few weeks ago and none of my moisturizers were improving my skin, I was frustrated and I remembered I had a few samples of this so I thought I would give it a go on the off chance that it will work. The texture is quite gooey so I was not sure how this was going to work with my skin. I have heard of the TonyMoly brand before and had tried one of their products which I liked so it wasn't like I didn't exactly know what I was putting on my skin.

I cleansed my skin with my normal cleanser and then applied this to my face straight after. I rubbed it in using gentle circular motions making sure that it was getting applied well yet gently to my face and my dry skin patches. I went to bed and when I got up in the morning an their was significant improvement in my skin. My dry patches had improved by 50% over night and I was happy and relived. I was actually surprised because I was a bit weary of this due to how the texture felt on my skin. After applying this for 3 constitutive nights my dry patches had cleared up 100% and my skin was hydrated. I will be buying a full size of this because it is dry skins savior and best friend. I do recommend this to you ladies with dry skin and for dry skin emergency's.

I was given this baby as a freebie from a BR lovely to try and Holy Tony Moly I am in love! I instantly fell in love with the apple shape in came in and the honey smell it gives off. It has the texture of watered down honey but less sticky icky.

I have very dry, red skin on the best days so this slice of apple heaven was just what the doctor ordered. I dabbed it on just as it says to do after my shower. When it dries it almost feels like glue drying on my face which gives the slight pulling effect especially around the eye area.

The next day my skin has the best velvety feeling to it. My eye area was so soft and supple. My makeup went on so smoothly without primer after the use. I loved it so much that I bought three more pots of it. I use it every night after my shower. My skin is so hydrated now and has less redness above my brows which for me is a miracle in itself.

The price reflects the quality so I am happy to pay $14.99 per apple because it works better than most other things I have tried. It's true for me.....an apple a day keeps the doctor away. The look, tick! The smell, tick! The texture, mmmm I can deal with it. Results massive TICK! My new holy grail face cream.

I love this product. I'm not going to lie, the only reason I was drawn to this product was because of the cute packaging. When I first got it, I didn't think it was that amazing, but it was effective for the cheap price you pay. I would use this twice a week (at night), as suggested by the website. However, once I started using the product more (like 3 to 4 times a week) I started noticing a real difference. It is actually really moisterizing. After you wash it off the next morning, my skin is so smooth and hydrated. I wouldn't recommend this if you have oily skin. I have combination skin and on days when I'm oily, I've noticed it has made my skin a bit more oilier. However, when my skin is normal - dry i find it works fine. This maybe just for my skin. It is definitely worth a try this product - you cant complain with a cute apple package and a great price. It smells amazing too - a refreshing apple smell that's not too overpowering.

When I was lucky enough to be sent to South Korea on a work trip, I couldn't wait to hit up the beauty stores! The first shop that I went to after the thirteen hour flight was Tony Moly. I was like Eve being drawn to this cult product! There is something about the glistening apple packaging that makes this totally irresistible!

The name is a little misleading as it a gel consistency, not a cream. It does have a sticky, stretch consistency as per the description. And the smell! Mmmmm, beautiful freshly picked apples! It comes with a little spatula to hygienically remove a small scoop from the pot. The idea is that you then pat it between your hands to stretch it, then pat it on to your face.

Being a Korean product it has very little information on how to use it in English and it took quite a lot of googling for me to find the answers. What I did find out that this is best used at night, two or three times a week, so it's more of a overnight mask. I've probably used it once or twice a week and I am only getting to the end of it nearly two years later.

I wasn't really expecting much from this as it was super cheap to buy in Korea, so along with the packaging, I thought it was more of a gimmicky item. Boy, was I wrong! Despite being a gel, the next morning I wake with super soft and moisturised skin, more like what I would expect after using a heavy night cream. This performs just as well as another over night treatment I have that costs five times the price! I will definitely be repurchasing this!

I love these hand creams I have used the banana one and the mandarin one they work well and look cute on your work desk or dresser/night stand. They smell incredible I will definitely be purchasing more, this apple one looks so good!!
