Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara Review

This is one of my favourite mascaras I've tried. It makes my short, wee lashes look so long and full. It definitely gives my lashes more volume and length, more so after extra coats, but still a lot with only one. The packaging is so pretty, and looks very high-end and good quality. The brush is quite big, but it works well and makes the mascara quick and easy to apply. It doesn't smudge or flake or clump together.

My only issue with this mascara is that I find that it dries up quite quickly compared to other mascaras I've owned. I have repurchased once and the mascara I own now, which I've had for a few months now, is not performing as well as it did when I first bought it. I still think it's worth buying just because of how gorgeous it makes my lashes look for the first few months. I will be repurchasing when I'm finished with the mascaras I'm using at the moment so that I get more use out of it and feel a bit better about spending close to $40 on a mascara lol.

This mascara is so nice and extremely black, makes my lashes so full and thick and it lasts for ages. It did clump my lashes at first(dipped brush back in the tube a few times and that’s totally not necessary), but it’s easy to find the right balance as to how many strokes you can do before it starts clumping the lashes. It doesn’t crumble throughout the day, but sometimes I get it on my eyelid while applying and it needs to be cleaned asap, otherwise it dries on the skin. This clumps up the lashes, but another stroke with the mascara brush and it’s fixed. I now never double dip the brush because it’s such a wet mascara, it’s enough to do both lashes for me, I might have to start doing that when it starts running low, but so far it doesn’t look like it wants to run out soon and I’ve only got the travel size.

I purchased a mini version of this and perhaps this is where I went wrong. This mascara wasn't as good as I expected it to be. The brush is rather large so I found it difficult to get into the corners of my eyes. The formula was dry and clumped my eyelashes together while leaving flaky bits under my eyes. It did increase the volume of my lashes but at the expense of looking messy and not the look I was after.

My absolute favourite Mascara. I'm never disappointed by this one. My lashes always look amazing and I recommend this mascara to everyone.

Like most I love this mascara. I haven’t met a person who hasn’t raved about this so when I first heard about it I had to try it.

First up it doesn’t sting my eyes over the course of the day which is a huge plus.

The colour is the perfect black - not too brown or blue as some can seem tinted these hues.

I find 1-2 coats gives a nice finish without looking like I have tar on my eyes. I hate that heavy eye makeup look on me so this gives nice defined lashes that aren’t too clumpy.

The things that get me about this are the price and availability it’s quite expensive and hard to get - for me anyways. I tend to do most my shopping at farmers as quick shops as I don’t always want to wait for shipping. But asos have this cheap sometimes so keep an eye out. They also have the full and mini size which is handy if you just want to try it out and not spend a lot of money.

Terrible. I got this thinking it would be amazing. I have quite long lashes but this just clumped and made my eye lashes look like spider legs. Terrible. I wouldn't recommend nor would I repurchase. I guess on the flip side, the emptier it got (yes I carried on using it, this girl doesn't have that kinda money to be throwing it away) the better it became. It still left black fibres under my eyes. And I still had to use my empty mascara as a spooley to de clump it.

This is a regular purchase for me. Love the thick brush which allows a good amount of product on brush at a time. The co district is good and know it’s good quality brand that is not going to smudge. Good price for a good brand And doesn’t clump.

I purchased the mini size to give it a try before splurging. It is a good mascara but I think there are cheaper branded mascaras that do the same job for half the price.
