I remember the first time I purchased this, it was before the hype of highlighters had taken off in the mainstream of beauty. Coming in a very cute compact that had a split pan, one side pink and the other an ivory tone with hints of a golden shift.
Swirled together and placed on the high points of your face this gives a bold and striking highlight glow, but blend out with a fluffy brush with a lighter hand and you can also blow it out into a soft and really beautiful natural glow. Want even more of a bold burst of light on your cheeks, wet your brush and pick a colour, adding them singularly on the top of your cheeks on a wet brush sees these become almost metallic and gives you the brightest shine, that even some of the more modern highlighters fail to create.
It is a constant in my kit and my own collection as it can cater to a wide variety of needs, also I love popping the Ivory shade under my brow and in the corner of my eyes for a wider, more awake look.
this was the first high end highlighter I bought mostly to reviews and advice from beautiful people on this site.
the packaging is gorgeous and feminine and sturdy with a large mirror on the inside
the powder on the inside is stunning with a pearly gold side and shimmery gold pink side with gorgeous chandelier embossed into it.
Its kinda like 2-3 highlighters in one as both the colours singularly have a different tone and then its slightly different when swiped together.
I feel like this highlighter would work with such a variety of skin tones, its works well on me and I would say im on the paler side.
I generally use a fan brush for applying this to the high points of my cheeks, on my nose and cupids bow. it leaves a beautiful pearly gold sheen that just pops and looks healthy and beautfiul, you can layer it for a BAM effect and can also just use a touch for a nice natural healthy glow.
I have no issues with it showing texture on my skin. I love this and would highly recommend and buy again
The only downside is getting it to New Zealand
