No matter what TRESemme product I use I get the same result...greasy hair! Although I had been burnt many times with this brand I thought with a new hair cut and style I'd try out this little beauty...only to be burnt again! I followed directions word for word and still got that greasy look and feel, even after I had put my Ghd through. I will say though these products are always at a good price and smell nice. Obviously my hair and TRESemme are not to be.

Reviews
Why does this product not really work for me? I love the cool bottle with its trigger and I like the packaging, price and volume but it just leaves me hair flats and greasy! I had high hopes with it but its just not for me
I love the tresemme heat spray. I use it before I blow dry my hair and before I straighten my hair. It smells nice and doesn't give my hair a oily look like a lot of other products. Its very affordable and easy to get!
I've been using this for about 2 years now :)
I brought this because I'm always straightening and curling my hair and I'm worried about the damage all the heat is causing to my hair especially since it's dyed quite frequently so I don't want it to be more frazzled than it needs to be.
I love the bottle it comes in 300ml with a trigger pump making it easy to spray. It smells a lot the TRESemmé shampoo and conditioners which I used to like and thought I would like this too but we just don't like each other.
Like I said I loved TRESemmé before I found BR which made me discover new brands. This spray while it smells nice and the bottle is great the actual spray itself makes my hair sticky and I have got no idea why I have tried dry hair, damp hair, spraying and waiting a bit, spraying and straightening or curling straight away and I still have sticky hair that knots way to easily. Nothing is working I don't know if it is protecting my hair from heat or not but to me knotty hair isn't worth it. Maybe someone has a tip?
Tips: No. But does anyone have one? I'd love for it to work
I can't live without this stuff. It is an amazing heat protectant. I use it everytime I use heat on my hair and I find it reduces the amount of damage my hair is exposed too. I have bleached blonde hair so protecting my hair from damage and breakage is hugely important to me. I found this to be the best heat protectant I have tried and it is super affordable from the supermarket. It is a fine spray that doesn't make your hair all wet and when brushed through distributes quite nicely. It also has a faint smell so doesn't overpower your shampoo/conditioner, hair oil etc. I have gone through so many bottles of this stuff, works amazing!
I used this before I straightened my hair (which i don't do much, not that that matters), and let me tell you this stuff really works. It protected my hair from the heat and didn't turn it dry or brittle. The spray applicator had amazing coverage so i didn't have to use much, which is great because i have very long, very thick hair (so i didn't have to use the whole bottle for one application). It also smelt quite nice in my opinion, which was a extra little bonus
I have the red bottle one of this which has the keratin in it. List of ingrediants is pretty much the same and they both do the same thing. Im in love with mine. It makes my hair so soft after straigthening and keeps it so soft all day and find it alot easier to tie up to keep kinks away. It has tamed the frizziness but not by a hell of a lot i still have some but hey most of us do. Its smell is quite nice in my view and the bottle is very easy to use and has lasted me a while. I defs will repurchase. I never straighten my hair without this stuff in first now. The price is also quite good i think it costed me around 10-14 from countdown can't remember the exact price but defs worth it.
Tips: Spray about 30-60cm away from head (arms length) you dont want to soak your hair before straightening it. Use about 6sprays depending on hair thickness and length. I have long hair. And spray all over and then comb through to spread it out evenally throughout hair. Then straighten as usual and youll see the difference yourself, so smooth.
My hair is coarse, frizzy, curly, unmanageable and just a pain in the behind. So of course that means tonnes of heat styling (blow dry and flat iron) to get it straight and silky smooth. My hair in it natural form is just me looking like an untamed lion and that is not pretty nor classy...
I do my normal shampoo and conditioning routine and then towel dry my hair. I leave the towel on my hair until almost all of the wetness has been removed, as I find it easier to blow my hair when its semi dry. I section off my hair when blow drying and then add the heat tamer spray to every section. I'm very generous with this spray as my hair needs all the love it can get.
Whilst blow drying my hair just glides through the brush and once my hair is dry it has a beautiful healthy shine. I use a large barrel blow dry to help the blowdry process be quicker and therefore save on the heat to my hair.
After blow drying, I flat iron my hair and then the magic happens. Silky smooth and straight hair left behind! I can definitely see the improvement in my hair since using heat tamer because the split end are not as severe as they use to be with out using it.
Shiny hair and reduced split end? This is a winner and its not even at salon prices.
Tips: I like to spray the heat tamer into my hair and leave it for a few minutes to soak into my hair. This aids with the manageability and softness of the hair.
I really liked this heat protection spray. It was really easy to use and I could easily get a good coverage with it. I find you need to spray about 20-40cm away from head so you don't soak the hair you just get a good coverage. I found the spray made my hair look way healthier after straightening it and made it look shinier and nicer. I really like this spray and would use again.
Tips: Spray 20-40cm away from head.
This product makes my hair stay soft after heat styling but the bottle broke as soon as I used it so I had to transfer it into a new cheap bottle. Still the product is good, smells nice, protects my hair and helps keep it smooth and soft when styling. Would defiantly use again.
Tips: Put the product in better quality bottle?
