I used this before I straightened my hair (which i don't do much, not that that matters), and let me tell you this stuff really works. It protected my hair from the heat and didn't turn it dry or brittle. The spray applicator had amazing coverage so i didn't have to use much, which is great because i have very long, very thick hair (so i didn't have to use the whole bottle for one application). It also smelt quite nice in my opinion, which was a extra little bonus

I have the red bottle one of this which has the keratin in it. List of ingrediants is pretty much the same and they both do the same thing. Im in love with mine. It makes my hair so soft after straigthening and keeps it so soft all day and find it alot easier to tie up to keep kinks away. It has tamed the frizziness but not by a hell of a lot i still have some but hey most of us do. Its smell is quite nice in my view and the bottle is very easy to use and has lasted me a while. I defs will repurchase. I never straighten my hair without this stuff in first now. The price is also quite good i think it costed me around 10-14 from countdown can't remember the exact price but defs worth it.
Tips: Spray about 30-60cm away from head (arms length) you dont want to soak your hair before straightening it. Use about 6sprays depending on hair thickness and length. I have long hair. And spray all over and then comb through to spread it out evenally throughout hair. Then straighten as usual and youll see the difference yourself, so smooth.
I went out and purchased this after watching Lauren Curtis on YouTube always using it! I've had mine for quite a while now and it just seems to go and go!
I haven't really shopped around and used many others so I've just been sticking with this one since it seems to be doing the trick and it's not often I use heating tools in my hair anyway.
The main thing is it smells nice, has a nice packaging and is super affordable and I feel like it's doing what it says it does! It doesn't leave any residue in my hair and doesn't leave it sticky or harden it or anything nasty like that, so I'll be sticking with this one for a while I think!
This is my second time purchasing this product. It comes with a handy spray that spritz' your hair and it has a really nice smell to it. It protects my hair really well and always leaves it nice and shiny. I like that it has a way to lock the spray part so little fingers can't use it and it's easy to lock for travel. I will buy this again as its really reasonable for a heat protectant
Very good value for its price! Better quality than most other heat defense sprays around same price. Bottle is also very practical and easy to hold while styling and efficient when spraying.
Tips: Don't hold too close give some room for it to cover a large area you get more out of the product.
I've bought this product a few times and have been relatively happy every time I've used it.
It comes in quite a large bottle which means it lasts aaaagges (I'm sure my first one lasted a year!) and has such a handy nozzle spray! It's ease of use is one of my favourite things as you can use a light spray and it doesn't make your hair heavy or greasy like some creams do that you have to use your hands to run through your hair.
The actual product smells lovely and light. Sweet smelling without being overpowering and it fades in time. And while it seems to do its job protecting the hair from heat, I don't particularly think it makes my hair any softer or easier to style like it claims.
Ill keep buying and using it as it often goes on sale at supermarkets and is really value for money. It does protect my hair from damage and as somebody who has thick hair prone to damage that's really the most important thing to me.
Tips: Use in combination with other styling products as its mostly good for heat protection not smoothing or styling.
For a few days I dedicated my searching to products good for your hair while growing it long. My hair is fairly long; however almost a year ago, I noticed I was losing a lot of hair. I don't mean just a little bit...a lot! No matter how gently I treated my hair I had a small handful every time I washed it & combed it with a wide tooth comb. Thankfully, it isn't quite as bad now and it looks like the culprit is most likely due to a wonky thyroid. Anyways, now that you have a little background, I wanted to buy products that would help prevent me from losing anymore! Luckily I have a lot of hair but it isn't thick. I found a few products that were being raved about & I thought it was about time I use something to protect my hair from more damage as I often blowdry my hair, though usually just enough that it isn't sopping wet...I'm a busy, single parent of two boys so a lot of the time I would just put it up in a messy ponytail/bun. Now I let it air dry as much as possible but for those days I'm rushing around, I spray this liberally all over my hair before blow drying or straightening my bangs & so far, so good!!
Tips: Spray liberally to make sure you have the product spray on all your hair but it is a very fine mist so it's best to hold it about a foot away. I highly recommend putting the hand that isn't spraying behind the section of hair you are spraying so you aren't wasting much of the product and give your hair a little scrunch or squeeze to try & move the product around onto all your strands. I also recommend a product that when applied, lessens the time you need to blowdry if you are blowdrying: something like "kms california FREE SHAPE quick blow dry". :)
The first and best heat spray I’ve used, kept my hair nice and shiny. Smelt good ;) Decent price for the amount you get and how long the product lasts over time.
Tips: Spray it all over your hair, massage in let it dry then straighten ;)
This product is a great, it is a low cost protection spray for heat treated hair. I use it prior to using my hairdryer or straightener. I find it is best applied to damp hair, if you apply it to dry hair it can be a bit sticky and you don't need a lot.
Marvelous product, doesn't leave crunchies on my hair, it still moves freely and makes my hair soft. After hair washing my hair is a hot mess this combined with my straightner are m best friends. Lovely light fruity kind of smell and a little goes a long way.
My favourite heat protectant and an absolute steal for the price
Tips: Turn head upside down when spraying to give a tad more volume as well.
