Let's start with the positives: The treatment has classy salon style packaging with a pump that dispenses the right amount of product out which minimizes wastage. It has that pleasant classic TRESemme product smell which I enjoy. This made my hair straighten quicker than usual with my hair straightener. And the negatives... You are supposed to wash your hair with the matching shampoo and conditioner, then comb this through damp hair, then dry your hair with a hair dryer. The method of this product just didn't work for me. My hair takes a while to dry with a hair dryer as it is, but the treatment is so thick and creamy that it doubled my hair drying time and no matter how many times I have tried, it won't dry fully into my hair. This leaves me with oily and greasy feeling hair; not good when I've just washed it. You are then supposed to active the treatment by straightening your hair. While the treatment did allow my hair to straighten quicker, it did not make it feel any smoother or healthier and actually caused my hair to sizzle when straitening which cannot be good. It also leaves a thick amount of white gunk on my straightener plates, so I refuse to continue using this as it is ruining my hair straightener. The treatment does nothing for my hair, it doesn't become any smoother nor does it last for 7 days, my straightening can only last for a day as my hair is left so oily from this that I have to wash it again. I'm disappointed I wasted $10 on this product.

I saw an advert for this on TV and somehow got it stuck in my head my hair would remain straight - it didn't - but when I read the box before I bought it, I realized my mistake. I still bought it though, just to try it.
The bottle and box are both red and black, and its quite eye catching. The bottle has a silver lid, and a black pump. The gold writing is a little hard to read against the red, and they both are quite shiny. Weirdly, there are no instructions on the bottle on how to use this product! They're all on the box, and the bottle tells you to refer to the box!
From memory, you use 8-10 pumps of the thick white cream in wet/damp hair. Then you blow dry your hair until it is dry - a process made slower by the cream! Aggravating. I used about 6 pumps of the cream from about mid length to the tips in my own hair. Once you have done this and your hair is dry, you turn your straightener on as hot as it can go, and you straighten your hair. The instructions tell you to go over the straightened pieces 4 to 5 times, so be careful not to burn yourself! They aren't bad burns but man hot hair is painful.
My hair was no smoother or straighter from using this, in fact my hair felt greasy and yuck and very burnt, and I couldn't wait to wash my hair the next day. I wouldn't buy this again, and I'd only use the cream as a sort of detangler, as it seems to work really nicely like that!
