Trilogy Certified Organic Rosehip Oil review

I started using this to rid my face of acne scars after the reccomendation of a friend. I really do not like the smell! i dont no what it is about Rosehip, but yuck. The other thing i dont like about it is that it actually made my face more oily, I would wake up in the morning and the first thing i had to do was wash my face, a big dislike. HOWEVER....... It really did work! my scars are now less visable, which i was suprised about. So when i heard from another friend that i could use it on burns, i thought hey why not!! I had a nasty burn on my bicep, so after about 3-4 months of using Rosehip on this scar, i started to see it fading!! I was so happy!! now i only have a shadow of a scar, which is pretty awesome!! I do reccomened this to alot of people who have scars or burns, and my mum swears by it! im sure she looks younger!!

The minute I have dry skin on my face, this is the product I grab. Feels so luxurious, has a bit of a weird smell but nothing that can't be handled. I find that I can apply this product, allow it a small amount of time to dry and then apply make up on top (if necessary) without it looking oily in the areas I applied the rosehip

I cannot recommend this product enough. It is incredible for reducing the appearance of scarring and stretch marks. I had a car accident in which I sustained a laceration to my face. Now, being a teenager when this happened, a scar on my face was way less than desirable. I tried bio oil on the scar as it was healing, but found it too harsh over my eyelid (it seemed to sink in and sting my eye), so I started using the Trilogy Rosehip oil. I had ZERO problems with any irritation to my eye as I had found happened with the Bio Oil, and my scar is barely noticeable now, over two years after the accident. It has been barely noticeable for about a year now and I finally stopped my daily ritual of applying it twice a day. Rosehip oil is also great for stretch marks. As I have grown, I have had stretch marks in various places on my body and I have found that the Trilogy Rosehip oil has majorly decreased how obvious they are. I absolutely love this product.

I bought this after it was recommended in the forums - I am SO glad I did! It's like a miracle! After about a week I've noticed my pores had gotten smaller and the lines around my eyes had reduced. I'm just delighted with this product, so much so that I'm trying to convince my hubby to try it as well :) I'd highly recommend this to anyone thinking of buying it. It's quite reasonably priced and it doesn't seem like I need to use a whole lot for it to be effective.

The only slightly negative comment I have is the scent - it's very subtle, but if you're sensitive to that kind of thing this might not be for you (I noticed a few other people mentioned the scent in their reviews... like I said, I didn't super-notice it, but others might)

This is a great product which has helped to reduce the appearance of my stretch marks on my tummy! i love it and will be repurchasing

I love this oil. Love, love love it! I have fairly decent skin - it isn't overly dry or oily. As I've moved through my thirties I've got a few more 'laugh lines' around my eyes and my skin tone has become a little uneven, but overall I can't really complain. This product was recommended to me by a friend who has beautiful skin. I was a bit hesitant when I saw the price but I decided to give it a go and I am so glad I did. I use a little bit every night after I wash my face with triolgy cleanser and it just makes my skin feel alive. It is an oil, so my face is a bit shiny after I put it on but since I started using it my skin is soft, clear, even and it just feels younger. I would totally recommend trying this product - it is just beautiful.

A friend suggested this to me and I have not looked back since purchasing. I have skin that gets oily around the T zone, but gets hideously dry around the cheeks and nose in winter.

I use this at night after cleansing and let it soak in a bit before sleeping.

I love this product so much! I use it every morning and night on both mine and my 2 year olds skin. My 2 year old is a typical boy so has lots of scarring all over his little body and using this oil for a few weeks has helped the scars to fade, a lot of them are barely noticeable now.

I use this on my stretch marks that were gained during pregnancy and also my face after removing my makeup to help my skin feel rehydrated. I love applying it under my eyes on sensitive areas as I have noticed that the creases are a lot less visible now.

Unlike a lot of oils, this is easily dissolved into the skin and doesn't give you a greasy look.

I’ve been putting off writing a review for this product because I can’t tell you anything new that previous reviewers have already mentioned.

Years and years ago I used another brand of Rosehip Seed Oil when I was less educated on the “what to do/not to do’s” of skin care for oily and acne prone skin and I wasn’t impressed with that then so I was absolutely sceptical of all the rave reviews I’ve read about this one.

Having become more educated through tireless research and trial and errors I figured out it was probably a good time to give Rosehip Oil another chance.

I’m glad I did.

I was using Paula’s Choice Resist C15 Super Booster and I loved the effect it had on my skin. Trouble was, it was awfully watery and I was going through it fast so I wanted something that was equally as good and easier to get hold of so I decided to give this a try. My expectations were non existent but boy was I surprised!

Trilogy’s Rosehip Oil did not disappoint and it has since become a favourite of mine and something to look forward to as the last step in my nightly skincare regime.

Just three drops split evenly over my cheeks and chin and one drop spread over my forehead is more than enough to soothe and moisturise my skin (I still use a serum and my regular moisturiser too!).

This little gem ticks all my boxes, no overpowering smell, no breakouts, helps to heal any blemishes that do pop up, clears up scars, doesn’t make my skin oily during the day (I only use it at night but some moisturisers can cause my skin to have an oily residue during the day) and in fact I noticed I get a lovely glow under my foundation from using this. It’s not enough for someone to comment on but I can recognise it when I look in the mirror. By using it at night it also preps my skincare for the morning and helps my make up stay nice and fresh all day.

When you put it on it is of course quite oily but it does sink in after 5-10 mins and leaves a lovely fresh look. I don’t think I would want to use it in the mornings though.

It is a rich amber colour and I’m sorry but I can’t comment on whether it will stain your pillowcase as I use a dark blue silk one that doesn’t show marks easily.

Like I said, I was this products worst sceptic but now I’m its biggest convert! I absolutely adore it and am glad I took the risk to try it.

I use a lot of natural oils and Trilogy rosehip is one of the best I use it for a few different purposes.. I use this on my face at night as a moisturizing treatment and when i'm not wearing makeup, it instantly brightens and evens my complexion leaving it looking dewy clean & fresh without ever clogging pores.

This oil is also quite good used as a cleanser as i have only recently become aware of after reading a BR article about oil cleansers i gave this one a go and it's very affective at removing makeup. I've also been using this oil on scars & stretch marks on and off for a while and i do believe that it helps to smooth these stubborn inperfections. It's also great for spots, redness, dryness & rashes.

This product may seem a bit pricey considering the compact size of it but a little really goes a long way and there will never be any waste by accidently pouring out too much with the drop applicator. The oil is non greasy and quite slow absorbing keeping your skin hydrated & looking fresh for quite some time, probably an especially good product for anyone prone to dryness.
