Prior to using this, the idea of using an oil on my face was completely foreign. Like many others, I mistakenly thought that it would make my skin oily, and give me spots. Boy, was I wrong! My skin was super thankful to be getting nourished and moisturised, and it really made me glow. My skin was much more hydrated, and drank up the oil without getting greasy. I wasn't a huge fan of the scent (it was subtle, but a lot more bland than I expected - nothing wrong with it, just not my cup of tea), but I did love the results. While I wouldn't buy it again because I am really scent-oriented, it did open my eyes to a whole new world of skincare!

Tips: A little goes a long way! You don't need to use much, 2-3 drops really is enough.
This is the first beauty oil product I have used on my face, and the strange smell is a little bit off putting at first however it fades quickly.
I was given a bottle by a colleague of my mothers, when I had mentioned to her that the bout of acne I had been trying to get rid of for months had left small scars along the side of my face, patches of the skin on my face had also become quite dry due to the amount of acne fighting products I had been using.
After using the rosehip oil for a week, (2 drips on a cotton pad after cleansing) I noticed that the dry patches of my skin had reduced significantly and that my skin was glowing again. The oil has also reduced the appearance of the acne scarring on my cheek as well.
Tips: Use in particularly troublesome spots of dryness, or mix a little bit into your moisturiser when you need a bit of a boost!
A lot of girls use this on their faces for acne. That didn't work for me. BUT I have a huge scar on my leg from a drunken accident, let's not get into it, and this has worked wonders at getting rid of the purple shading. I rub it in every day and make sure I rub deeply so it really sinks into the scar.
I have just noticed a dreadful purple stretch mark appear after all my Easter egg eating, so I am going to give that a good rosehip oil rub and hopefully it'll turn white too!
I won a bottle of Trilogy Cert Organic Rosehip Oil and have started using it in the mornings - not at night as I think it would get on pillows. Already my skin feels so much softer and moisturised. I have a combination skin so don't put it around the nose area but it has definitely hydrated areas applied too.
Tips: Don't forget the décolletage - I had until I read this info. That is where you show age - and your hands!
I was gifted a 45ml bottle of this Trilogy Certified Organic Rosehip Oil about 2 weeks ago. I had heard quite a lot about Rosehip oil but hadn't actually tried it myself - partly due to budget constraints.
It comes in a nice red coloured box with a glass bottle that you apply using the dripper. The smell was unusual (but then I don't always expect a lovely smell from something that is natural) - not really pleasant but not bad. The dripper tended to start dripping out as soon as I took it out of the bottle which was a little annoying, so I just dripped a few drops into the palm of my hand and applied that way.
You don't need a lot as you massage into your face and neck, I found I needed about 4 drops for coverage. I have really old scars around my chin from a burn from a fire when I was a baby and didn't expect this product would do anything for that, but I do think it has lessened the redness of the scar. I do know that it has helped to even my skin tone out slightly and my skin definitely feels smoother from using it.
I will definitely continue to use this product, especially being Organic which I love :) I have been alternating using this one night and then an Organic face cream I use also.
Really like the product and will continue to use it
Tips: Just be careful with the dripper when you take it out of the bottle as it drips (well mine did!) and don't use too much :)
I was looking for a facial oil that contains rosehip oil because it is great for reducing pigmentation and redness from scars. I found this on special and I decided to give it a try because Trilogy have a reputation for quality products.
I have been applying this every night since I bought it and I am very happy with it. It is a rich, delicately scented oil that is easy to apply with the dropper provided. You only need 4 drops to do your whole face. My skin feels lovely and soft after using it. I have also noticed that the redness from my psoriasis and pimples has faded since using it.
I love this product, it has such a nice feeling to it when you massage it in. It doesn't leave an oily feeling which I was worried that it would. It is my daily routine.
This is a great product to add to your existing routine, especially in the winter months when your skin tends to dry a bit more, it's easy to apply and it doesn't leave any oily residue. Personally I don't find the smell that appealing but read on for tips...
Tips: I add about 3 drops to my moisturiser on my hand just before I apply it and mix them on together over my face and neck for an extra moisture boost to my usual moisturiser.
I use rosehip oil at least once a week. Usually after a clay mask. It’s really moisturising and keeps my skin feeling healthy and soft all week long. I also use rosehip oil in my homemade shampoo bars to add extra moisture to my hair too. I have found that it works well to reduce stretch marks too! This particular brand is a little bit more expensive than some others that I’ve used but it has a great smell that’s not too overpowering like some rosehip oils can be.
I was using the Essano oil but when it finished, I thought I would try the Trilogy based on great reviews and minimal price difference.
Whilst it worked almost the same as Essano (I doubt here is much difference actually), I found this had a weird smell on my skin - almost like fish oil. Even though I only use it in the evening, the smell is pretty gross.
Yes it did what it claimed it would - left my skin soft smooth and evened out, but the smell puts me off. Luckily I only bought the small bottle!
I am keen to try other Trilogy rosehip products to see if they all smell like this!
Tips: Use at night before moisturisng for soft rejuvenated skin in the morning.
