Maybe Time to Try Again

I used this when I was younger and found it caused me to break out, however that could also have been my hormones. I think i will try this again, as it did make my skin feel amazing after application, and i really liked it around the eye area.

Good hydration in a pinch

I have used this particular product on and off for a few years and find it a good night moisturiser for my oily skin if it starts looking irritated or flakey. The smell isn't great but is fairly neutral so I don't mind it that much.

I initially started using it on some scars but didn't notice any difference after applying twice a day for 2 months but my skin was definitely softer and didn't have any flaking or dry spots. I am pleased that this product is Certified Organic but would prefer that more of Trilogy's products were also Certified Organic - some of the ingredients in the other products could definitely be improved on.

Tips: Use anywhere you may have dry "bits" - elbows, knees, and don't forget your neck!

Not a fan...

I was lucky enough to get a 2.5ml sample off a friend of this. I was really wanting to try this anyway after seeing the amazing reviews here on BR and elsewhere on the internet. I had also been looking for a serum, or another product which would give my skin some more moisture when needed. I wasn't put off by putting an oil on my skin as I know these can be just what dry skin needs.

The product itself is very thin as you would expect for a oil. I find the smell of the product really puts me off and will be the main reason that I won't be repurchasing this (other than the fact I have so many other products to use up!). I can't quite put my finger on what it smells like, but I find it quite strong and it puts me off.

I have been using this on my face at night before moisturiser and I feel like it doesn't sink in to my skin at all. I wake up and go to do my morning cleanse and it my skin feels oily like this hasn't sunk in at all. However I must say my skin does feel very moisturised.

Overall I just don't think I am a fan of putting oils all over my skin. For me this might be something for particularly dry spots, and not an all over fix.

Trilogy - ho hum

I got this oil during a promo where the postage was free and BR offered free points with it. I think altogether the end cost was $10.

The product comes in a 15ml brown dropper bottle. It has nice red branding with the trilogy name on it.

The top unscrews and then the dropper is available to squeeze the product onto your skin.

It is thick yellow oil, and it has no scent. It absorbs quite nicely into my skin and leaves a healthy glow behind it.

It is a good product for my dry skin, but have to say, no better than other rosehip oils, and lack the gorgeous scent of some of them.

I recommend trying it, but think it’s pretty ordinary when compared to others.

Not Convinced

Trilogy's Rosehip Oil has been certainly hyped up, but for me I'm not sure it lived up to the hype.

I have tried several rosehip oils and found them all fairly similar in both smell and function, so I would only buy this again if it was the cheapest at the time I was purchasing it.

Rosehip oil appears to be the miracle skin oil, a deaging serum, a lash serum and a make up remover.

As a make up remover it was fantastic; gentle and effective. It also possible has strengthed my lashes slightly but the jury is still out on that one.

As far as skin goes it absorbed into it quickly and gave it moisture but other than that itdidn't appear to do anything and naturally felt oily on my skin.

As far as age is concerned, I only have fine lines but it didn't do anything for them.

I keep a bottle of rosehip oil on hand because it is supposed to be good for my skin and I like to use it to remove my make up. But this brand will only be brought again if it is at a competitive price, which is actually possible.

Nice oil, don't get the hype

I used this oil and have no repurchased. It felt nice to put on but the smell put me off (if you have not used a rosehip oil before I suggest you smell it before you buy). Other than feeling nice I did not notice any difference in my skin.

Rose hip Oil

I loved the feel that this gave my skin and was hoping to use it to get rid of some scaring but unfortunately after one use I discovered I was allergic. But would recommend to try it.

Excellent but expensive

This worked extremely well on my stretchmarks, however was very expensive. After I finished this bottle, I bought pure rosehip oil elsewhere for much cheaper, I felt ripped off that I paid so much for Trilogy.

Not for oily skin!

I tried this out as everyone was raving about it. I like the smell and the price of this product, and the packaging is easy to work with. I like the consistency of the product, and that it absorbs easily into the skin. However, it broke me out, so will not be purchasing this again. May try again when I am older!

Tips: Not for oily skin
