I was so excited to try this product it comes in A large twist top pottle with the same colour and labelling as the other trilogy products.
When you open the pottle it's pretty waxy and oil consistently. You can definitely smell the rosehip.
I found I had to scrub it quite a lot the get a good coverage and found some of the product didn't wash off all that easily which I find frustrating.
I found it did gently exfoliate but nothing I couldn't get from a pair of gloves and a body wash so a bit disappointed. Exfoliating body balms not for me.
Well this had me oohing and ahhing when I pulled it out of the ‘thanks for’ BBBE, I love body scrubs and exfoliants. I love my skin feeling super soft and silky smooth, what got me even more excited was when I read ‘balm’ on the label. ooooh I thought, does that mean I can also be lazy and get away with moisturiser too? I couldn’t wait to have a shower and try it out.
It comes in a big round plastic tub with 185ml of this exfoliating body balm. It’s solid inside the tub but easy to scoop out. I scooped out a small amount and started scrubbing it round my body. I did find I had to keep scooping more out so I probably use a couple of tablespoons at a time. The scent is mild rosehip, it’s not a favourite but it’s ok. You can see the small exfoliating particles which are ground up rosehip seeds (so not only good for your skin but also good for the environment too.) it does feel nice on my skin, it’s a very gentle scrub so for my dry skin it’s a bit too gentle. I notice the water beading off my skin so when I dry my skin I carefully pat it dry.
After I finish patting it dry, my skin looks and feels moisturised, it’s smooth and doesn’t leave any kind of oily or greasy residue. It’s a lovely product, however for the price of the tub it’s rather expensive so it really is a treat, it didn’t really buff away my dry patches which was what I was most excited about, but it does let me be a bit lazy and I don’t have to moisturise after my shower. Probably won't repurchase.
