Trilogy Gentle Facial Exfoliant

Used this last night in the shower and my skin stills absolutely amazing this morning. I always worry about exfoliators scratching the surface of my face but this one is quite gentle. I am still not sure about the smell, it's definitely. Not offensive I just haven't worked out what it reminds me of yet. Anyway, I would buy this again for sure. Quite reasonably priced, good when you have a reward on your club card at farmers.

I love Trilogy skincare, and it's about all I use nowdays.

I used the Neutrogena Naturals scrub for a long time, as it was almost all natural and perfect for everyday use as a gentle exfoliator. I was curious about this Trilogy one, as a huge Trilogy fan, so tried it out.

I don't use it everyday like I used to with the Neutrogena Naturals one, however I use it every second or third day in conjunction with the Trilogy cream cleanser. It's the perfect consistency - it's gentle, but definitely still a good scrub and my face feels refreshed and polished, without being irritated or dry.

I'll keep using this product for a very long time. A little goes a long way and it's gentle on my normal to dry skin.

I love Trilogy products because they are all natural. This is a great exfoliator to use regularly because it is gentle on the skin. Because it is so gentle it does sometimes feel like it isn't working as quickly as other more harsh exfoliators, but is it! And it is moisturising on the skin too.

Trilogy is my go to brand for special treats so when I saw this on the beauty vault I grabbed it! I would have to say that this is my least favourite Trilogy product so far. I love a good exfloiator but this is too gentle for me. The exfoliating granules dissolve way too quickly for my liking. However, it actually does what it says on the tin, its a very gentle exfoliation. You wont get a scrubbed and tight feeling from this one but It does leave skin feeling smooth and soft with a very gentle fragrance. For me, I prefer a more scrubbed feeling for a twice a week product.

The Trilogy Gentle Face Exfoliant is a really lovely product which I have been really enjoying using. I generally try to use a scrub 2-3 times per week, and this one has been a lovely addition to my routine. The packaging is simple and classy, like all Trilogy products. The exfoliant has a smooth, cream texture, with extremely fine jojoba spheres which feel more like soft sand than your typical scrub. The scent is beautiful, very rose-like and pretty, and once washed off the Trilogy Gentle Face Exfoliant leaves your skin soft and smooth. My only complaint is the price, but for the quality I would recommend it for someone willing to spend a bit more on skincare.

Packet is basic and quite plain, and a very faint and I mean faint pale pink tube with a grey flip top lid, the product within is sealed behind a wee bit off foil. This exfoliant is slightly off white boarder line pale pink and has a soft waxy feel to it and loaded with lots of wee jojoba microspheres, so the exfoliation job the wee beads do is really good this is gentle yet effective, not harsh but does a really good job of removing dead skin cells gently. Fragrance is calendula (marigold) so a bitter sweet scent nearly a tiny bit minty. This I found to be very moisturising and if it didn't foam ever so slightly I would have thought I was using a cream. This rinses off nicely no wee beads left on my skin but I nearly feel like I have a very light film of wax left on my face, but a good rinse with a warm face cloth fixes that. So my skin is left glowing and smoother and softer, the more I use this the better my skin look. This is an awesome exfoliator.

I picked this up in a previous vault after seeing the great reviews. I love a good exfolliant and Trilogy has such nice products, I was excited to give it a try.

It comes packaged in a large white plastic squeeze tube, which is perfect for dispensing the small amount of product you need. I love how simple the packaging is, fitting well with Trilogy's more natural products and letting the product speak for itself.

It's a really creamy exfolliant, at first glance you'd assume it's a cream facial wash. It's off-white in colour and has a faint, unobtrusive natural scent of calendula. I apply a little bit of this with warm water and you get a slight bit of foaming which helps it disperse. The tiny exfolliating granules are very gentle and as you massage it into your skin you can feel it buffing away that dead skin. Afterwards my face feels soft and I love how if I use this at night, the following morning my skin looks clearer.

My only complaint? I balked when I saw the price tag and I personally couldn't justify spending that much on a facial scrub alone as there are many other scrubs that do a similar job out there for less. It is priced on par with my favourite scrub Oasis Tropical Smoothie, but that you can use as a mask which allows me to justify the expense to myself! I would however recommend it to others if they don't mind the expense as it is a really nice product.

I enjoy using this scrub. I like the scent and do find it gentle as it's described on the packaging. I keep it in my shower and use it a couple of times a week. I have even used it on my legs when I ran out of body scrub (although it's too pricey to do that on a regular basis!). I've had it around a year and find I don't need to use much.

Another Trilogy product I love. The product comes in a 75ml white tube with a flip top lid which is easy to use in the shower. Like most products you dont need a lot to get an excellent result. I do use mine in the shower as I find it is easier to rinse off, but you can still use it over a basin. I use a small amount on my wet face and in a circular motion gently exfoliate the dead skin away. After I have rinsed off my skin looks brighter and feels incredible. I will use this twice a week in the shower.

I received this as a gift from BR (thanks guys!) - I have always loved Trilogy rosehip oil but the other products are too pricey for me so this was a great chance to try the exfoliator.

It is super gentle and leaves my skin feeling soft,smooth and hydrated. It is a bit of a weird consistency when using it - I found it almost dries out as you massage so you either have to use more or add more water as you go.

It is quite a thick consistency so when I reached the near end of it, I really struggled to get any out of the tube and I think a lot of the product was still in the base when I threw it away. But that is often the case with tube products.

Would I use it again? Possibly. It is a rather high price point for me, but it does last ages.
