I heard so many good things about this product and I really wanted it to be great but unfortunately it didn't suit my skin type. I have quite reactive skin which goes red when irritated. Unfortunately this product set me off.

Tips: If you have skin like mine there are other great oils that you can use. A lovely almond or again oil works well.
I'm a real smell person and I just couldn't get past the smell of this product. Thankfully the lovely people at Trilogy allowed me to return the product. I just couldn't stand the smell on my face and hands.
Not a fan. I use the original Trilogy Rosehip oil and love it. When this came out I thought I would give it ago but didn't like it. I'm not to sure why I just prefer the original and my skin seams to look good when using it. I think this one might be better for a more mature skin type?
Not for me sorry. Smelt like cooking oil. I decided to try this on the top of only one hand. I have just asked my husband to touch them both to see if there is a difference and he said no. Doesn't look any different either. No noticeable changes on my face either. Would prefer to use Bio-oil.
I know its an oil but this was too strong for my sensitive skin. It also made my skin more prone to acne
I didn't see any visible difference. I used it instead of moisturiser twice daily, and my skin FELT very nice and smooth, but I didn't like the smell of it. It just smelt like oil, not a very nice fragrance for around your face neck area.
Tips: Perhaps over a longer time period it may SHOW some improvement? I think the smell should be more fragrant and feminine.
I've brought this product on a couple of different occasions as Im a firm believer in natural skin care and as there has been so much hype and rave reviews about this product I couldn't resist.
What I would call mid priced product I had hoped to see some kind of improvement to my skin tone, scars and breakouts, but that never came - even when used in conjunction with other trilogy products.
The packaging to me is fairly average but I liked the pop of silver with the Antioxidant +.
The dropper is the one positive I have from this product. It saves any wastage and lets you know that you are applying the correct amount - I wish more products were like this!!
I do have oily prone skin and Im guessing is why it hasn't work well for me, I used it every 2nd to 3rd day and when applied during my nighttime routine I found my skin way too oily upon rising in the morning, even when experimenting applying moisteriser on top or just using it by itself. It doesn't have the most pleasant of smells and left quite an oily residue on my skin.
If given this product I would still try it out again just to see if I find any difference (like I have already done with it previously) but defiantly wouldn't purchase it myself.
One product isn't going to be suited for everyone so guess Im just in the small amount of people this doesn't work for. So for me Im still on the lookout for the holy grail of face oils...
I purchased this after a beauty influencer I liked kept recommending it, I liked to use this on my face before moisturising as it would give my skin a bit more hydration and also under foundation to give my skin a bit of a dewy look. Which it seemed to do. Unfortunately it did not help at all with my acne scarring, nor did it seem to have any affect on my fine lines on my neck.
I would recommend this product if you are after a wee bit more hydration on the skin. But if you are looking for a product to fix acne scaring or fine lines, this aint it sis.
I have oily, acne prone skin with a fair number of blemishes. The main reason I bought this is because I read that rosehip oil is good for scars. Unfortunately this stuff broke me out and led to more scars. I have to say though, it is very moisturising and just 1 drop is enough for the entire face.
I ended up using the whole bottle because I tried testing it on different areas of my face, avoiding active acne and using it sparingly. The only real results I had were moisturised skin. It didn't do much else and I much prefer my vitamin c serum.
Tips: Acne prone girls should probably avoid this. If you want a moisturising oil, go for jojoba instead.
Didn't like colour and too greasy, I am not really an oil kinda girl though, more of a cream person for moisture.
