This has been a hard one to review as it has had its benefits and negative effects on my skin. I have had problems with dry skin/eczema since being free from it when I was four where I will regularly flare up on my face. But with constant proper skin care I avoid these problems. I was excited to recieve this product as it is a NZ made natural product I wanted to see how it would compare to the other product of Trilogy's which I have tried 'Everything Balm' sadly it was no different apart from the consistency. I liked that it was a rich creamy moisturiser where a little went a long way, i liked that it was moderately absorbing as i dislike products that absorb too quickly or too gluggy and greasy on the skin. But coincidence or not I found after one day it had evened out my skin tone and made my skin glow, after continous use it made different patches on my face go dry, itchy and flaky especially my chin, and then made me break out, this happened with my "Everything Balm". As this is my due date of my review I am just going to update the outcome at a later date as there could be a possibility that this isnt due to the product at all. Once my skin settles down I will definitely give this another whirl as I believe natural products are the best thing for the skin.Thank You BR for this chance xx

Tips: Steam your face at night to open your pores or straight after you get out of the shower apply a liberal amount of cream over the face so there is a thin layer on he skin, let it absorb overnight to get soft glowing skin in the morning!
Apply ten minutes before putting on make up, a really good moisturising base xx
I have been using this product for a while and love, love, love, it. This product has a soft subtle scent, and a beautiful creamy consistency, that when applied leaves the skin feeling soft, moisturised, and hydrated. Those of use with a dryer skin should defiantly give this one a go. Your skin will love you for it.
Tips: A little goes along way.
This marketed a moisturizer but I've used this in a facial as a hydrating mask. It is really good quality but too heavy for my skin to use as a regular facial moisturizer but really dry skin would probably love it. Super soothing and moisturizing. And handy if you want a face mask you can sleep with on overnight.
Tips: good as a hydrating sleeping mask
I have been a clairns girl for many years but just recently became concerned about all the chemicals I am applying to my skin. I tried this product with a little skepticism but really like it. My skin feels smooth and nourished. I will continue to use this product in the future.
I’ve been recommended this moisturizer, and OMG I’m so glad I brought it. I have been using it only for a few days, but definitely can notice the difference, the consistency is thicker but the skin will absorb it, can be use during am/pm, for day time you can apply a ‘pea size’. Do please consider if you have dry skin! :)
Tips: I’m loving using it before applying makeup, as it gives a dewy look to the face!
This is a lovely moisturizer kept my face hydrated under my makeup. Face felt very soft and supple. Did not leave your face feeling greasy
I did enjoy using the cream on my face this week after getting back from my holiday. It is very hydrating and makes my skin feel soothed. It is a rich nourishing cream that doesn't feel greasy on your skin at all. I don't think I could use it all the time as my skin isn't dry all the time just in intervals.
Well it certainly delivers on the richness and hydration. It's a HEAVY moisturiser not for the faint hearted. I think it is important to keep in mind that it's a cream not a lotion so by definition it's heavier and thicker than what I'm used to, but initially it did take me aback slightly.
It is super hydrating which is great for my dry bits. However, I am cursed with combination skin and I don't feel this product is suited to me because of this. It's simply too much for my oily areas and I've had a few breakouts while using it. I also think that maybe, although I am starting to show my age a tad, this product is a little "old" for me in my late 20s.
My favourite thing about this product is the divine smell. It's seriously yummy. Being a Trilogy product, it utilises natural ingredients, is animal friendly and a local company, yay!
I think I would consider repurchasing in a few years time were it not for one cardinal sin, the lack of SPF. I'm a huge fan of SPF and it's the first thing I look for in my day cream. I've been using this as a night cream but I think I prefer to use a dedicated night product if I'm going to use solely at night.
I have been using this moisturiser for years and used to love love love it! However, a while ago the packaging as well as the ingredients changed. It does not smell very nice anymore, and its signature lavender smell that I used to love has been replaced by a very sweet scent. I also find that the consistency has changed. It now does not glide on anymore but seems to go very sticky on the skin, and then absorbs so quickly that I am not able to gently massage it in. I am currently still using it but might start looking for an alternative :(
I recieved this product following an overseas trip. I have very sensitive skin and it left my face feeling soft and smooth without any breakouts or it feeling oily/greasy. Would recommend for frequent fliers
Tips: If you're not a fan of rosehips or strong botanical smelling moisturisers - this probably isn't the product for you
