This isn't usually a product I would go for, I borrowed it while I was staying with my mum and was completely blown away by it. It removed all my make up for starters without stinging my eyes. My skin is combination and has a tendency to be more oily in places. So when I saw the buttery texture of the product I was expecting to have a breakout in the morning. That didn't happen. This product gently cleanses, removes makeup and seems to moisturize all at once. I recommend this product.

Tips: I recommend using this cleanser after a good face scrub it makes your skin glow.
Loove this product! I have oily skin but this product takes all of my makeup off nicely and then I use another cleanser afterwards to get rid of the oily feeling it leaves. Smells great and the packaging allows you to use every last bit of the product. I do get dry skin sometimes and the oiliness of this product also helps with that along with other products I use afterwards.
Tips: Always double cleanse to make sure everything is off your skin! Patch test first! I have sensitive skin but not overly.
Most of us think cleansers should be a gel or cream right? Well this grapeseed butter cleanser was the turning point in my face care routine. Putting an oil on my face was a big no no growing up but after using this cleanser I have never looked back. It leaves your skin literally glowing and beautifully soft without any greasy residue.
Tips: Great for makeup removal and cleansing all in one. My trick is to put a warm facecloth on top and let it warm through, then remove the cleanser gently.
This cleanser is really interesting. I went into Farmers with the intention of repurchasing the Antipodes Juliet Cleanser and found this one instead.
This cleanser is as it says a grapeseed butter cleanser. So in consistancy it is very buttery which can leave a little bit of a greasy feeling on the skin if you use too much or are having an oily skin day.
The cleanser also has what I assume are little grape seeds in it. These give a light exfoliation as you cleanse and then are quite quickly massaged away to nothingness as the product is massaged into your skin.
It also left the skin feeling soft and moisturised, although I still applied moisturiser after washing it off.
Packaging wise it comes in a little tub which given its consistancy makes sense that a bottle or tube.
I really love the inovativeness of this cleanser and it is a great way of including exfoliation for those who are short on time. However better so buttery I think it is probably a cleanser most suited to dry skin. And I also think you need to do a proper exfoliation regularly still.
Confession time: I'm terrible at cleansing my skin properly. So bad that often if I don't have a cleanser I will just use a warm face cloth...perhaps for months. On the other hand, I'm great at moisturising. When given the choice of one or the other I always choose a moisturiser over a cleanser...until last November . Yet again while at antipodes wellington airport shop I was wasting time enjoying their products and i came across this butter cleanser. The smell is Devine and it has little granules in it for a gentle exfoliation. It feels so nourishing and softening on my skin, and I even use it over my eyes without any irritation. I love how it comes in a tub with a tiny spatula to help get the right amount. I am pleased to say I use it 'almost' every night and my skin just glows afterwards. I will be repurchasing!
Tips: Dampen face first
I tried this cleanser a while back after being talked into it by someone in Farmers. I knew the first night I used it that it wasn't for me. I liked the consistency and the smell but the cleansing part was where it lost me. I like to have my skin feel really cleansed after washing it, and with this cleanser I was never going to achieve that. It was hard enough getting rid of all the residue. On the plus side it did make my dry skin feel really hydrated, but that wasn't enough to sway me. Unfortunately, this cleanser just wasn't for me.
I love this cleanser! I have dry skin so the feeling after i washed this off, it took a while to get used too, made me positive that my skin was hydrated! it is super easy to apply, smells amazing and gets every single bit of makeup off my face, even waterproof mascara!! I would highly recommend for my fellow dry skin ladies, but for everyone else too!!
Takes a bit to get use to but once I did I really liked it. Made skin feel lovely and lush. Did feel like I needed a foam cleanser every so often to give that old clean feeling. Doesn't look the most inviting but don't let that put you off.
Tips: Use in the shower, the heat warms and softens the cleanser making it easier to use and remove.
I got this cleanser as a freebie a couple of months ago and have been using it every so often since then.
As the name suggests, it really is a buttery, oily product which is good for dry skin.
At first I was not used to such an oily cleanser and found it a bit strange to use. I have to wipe it off very thoroughly to avoid oily residue.
However, it does do a good job of cleansing my face and removes my (minimal) makeup very well. I personally really love the botanical smell, but some may find it a little strong, and I do not think it'd be suitable for sensitive skin.
I like the fact that it comes with a cool little spatula so you don't need to dip your fingers in.
Great at the end of the day cleanser, put it on leave it on for a bit, warm water follow with night cream. If I've been gardening I use it before my shower then use another cleanser to remove extra dirt.
Tips: Im finding it really soothing around my nose after blowing my nose all day because I have a cold.
