I ensured I got the right shade by getting it matched to my skin before purchasing. Warm Beige is my colour. I use my brush to apply and it covers beautifully. Soaks into the skin to make it appear like it is just my skin without imperfections. Fine lines vanish and gives a fabulous glow. Yes it is pricey at $79 for 30ml but I cannot fault it.

I wear the shade 2.5 - warm sand, its matte and totally blendable. You can build it up to full coverage and gives a nice glow to my skin on most days I only use one pump. It lasts all day and doesn't slide off my face like some other foundations. It doesn't have too strong of a smell and comes in a pump glass bottle. However using it alone won't be enough to hide the oil my skin produces which is a shame. I also wish it had more SPF as well, but that's not too important.
Tips: Warm it up in your fingers to blend better into skin.
I was recommended this by my cousin who had combo/oily skin as well. It is quite pricey, but when I did get it, I was not disappointed. The texture and finish are sophisticated and super comfortable. My skin felt really smooth and soft. Coverage is medium to full.
Tips: use a damp beauty sponge.
This is my holy grail - I'm onto my forth bottle. I love that it has positive skin care benefits as well and feel like its improved my skin condition. It's semi-matte without looking dry and never settles into my lines. While perhaps not deserving of its long-wearing title a small top up abut 3pm is all that is needed. I usually have horrible, dry looking skin in winter and haven't had any of those problems since using this.
Tips: Recommend for people who like full coverage but have dry skin
The consistency of this foundation was thick and creamy, but light-weighted. This foundation gave me a moderate to under full coverage. I didn’t manage to get a complete full coverage of my denser freckles, without the use of a concealer and powdered foundation, but guess depends how you apply it. The colour pretty much stays the same through the day. It had a natural matte finish, but with enough moisture to keep your skin feeling alive, but this foundation is pretty much for those with oily-combo skin. I liked how the foundation was breathable, light-weighted, and had a nice creamy smooth texture, but sadly, i easily get the appearance of dry flakey patches beside my nose, and highlighted expression lines, which this product itself wasn’t enough to prevent.
So i still haven’t found my holy grail foundation, but good news for those with oily skin, and especially yellow tones, this may be the matte foundation to try if you’re after a long-wear foundation that gives you a more natural, comfy, non-shiny look. I personally prefer a more healthy, radiant, flawless, satiny-smooth, glowy look, so this foundation wasn’t for me.
Bobbi brown foundations were originally made to suit skin with yellow undertones, but this series of foundation also had shades made for skin with cool and neutral undertones as well.
Tips: Tap the foundation onto problem areas for more coverage.
After trying many other foundations this is my absolute favourite, it’s true to label with its long lasting and weightlessness properties. I love the creamy feel, it provides full coverage, leaves skin feeling soft and light and best of all it doesn’t leave my skin oily.
