I purchased a mini size of this mascara about a month ago. Up until using this, I'd been quite content with using my maybelline and cover girl ones, spending a large amount on one just seemed pointless to me. That is until the first time i used this mascara anyway.
When you open this up, the wand really doesn't look like anything special, it just looks like a basic brush. The formula is at the perfect consistency, not too wet but not thick and gluggy. I find some cheaper mascaras need a mandatory drying out period to get them at the right stage for using so it was nice to see this was already perfect. This brush and formula somehow magically combine to give my lashes great length and great volume while still keeping the lashes separate. I like to do 2 or 3 coats on my stumpy lashes and it just does wonders.
I actually have my previous favorite mascara open which is the falsies mascara by maybelline. Bobbi brown kicks it's butt though, and I don't like how my lashes look when I use the falsies Now!
Sometimes you can get great lashes at the start but by the end of the day they don't look so good. Nope, not with Bobbi. They look perfect the whole day and I get no flaking under my eyes. Also to make it even better, this mascara comes off easily at Night! I just use my Garnier miceller water.
I love this mascara and will be so sad when it's all gone. The cost puts me off slightly but I know I'll buy the full size at some stage. The price is the only thing that would put me off slightly recommending it , but I do think it's worth it. The only bad side would be that it will put you off the cheaper Mascaras!
This mascara is my HG! it takes so little effort to build up volume and length, i find that i only need one coat for amazing looking lashes! i personally am not a fan of spider-y lashes (each to their own) and i find that this mascara doesn't do that in the slightest! it is very long wearing and i find that it doesn't flake or smudge during the daytime, and is AMAZING for at night! no need for false lashes!!!!
Tips: apply a light coat for the first time as you don't need much at all!
