I umm-d and aaah-d for a really long time before I committed to buying this, purely because of the price. While it is expensive, it is also a gorgeous product and is actually far better than my other primers.
I personally like to do my regular skincare, then apply this over the top. It’s not greasy, and it doesn’t feel silicone-y or break me out, but it does give my foundation a gorgeous finish, and it helps it to last the whole day.
Pros: Lovely fresh scent (slightly lemony, still skin care-y). A little goes a long, long way so it will last well. Gorgeous jar component, complete with ridiculously unnecessary monogrammed lid which is inexplicably really just lovely.
Cons: The price. It’s the elephant in the room, but if you’re in to high-end face products, then it’s more than worth the money,
Even at over $100 a jar, I’ll buy it again when I run out!
This cream is so thick and hydrating and my favourite part is the smell, it has a lemon scent. I saw Jeffree Star use it as a primer in one of his videos and decided to try it and fell in love. You don't need a lot of product so even though it's expensive, it will last a long time. It's super hydrating and like the name says, a great "face base".
Tips: The girl at Bobbi Brown said you can use it as a moisturiser and a primer in one, but I like to apply it after my moisturiser as a primer.
