I have dry skin and have always found it hard locating a foundation that doesn't cling to the dry patches of skin on my face. This stuff has been heaven sent! It's aimed at older skin so it's extra moisturising and it's perfect for my skin. It's light on your skin and long lasting, you would never suspect I had dry skin when wearing it.

Tips: It may seem rather expensive but you can buy it off Strawberry net for $70, or cheaper when they're having a sale, and it's honestly worth every penny. Each pot lasts me a good few months as well and I wear it daily, so if you wanted it just for special occasions it would last an age!
Yes this is a very expensive foundation, but it give a good finish. It comes in a glass jar, with a spatula to scoop out the foundation, which I think is the downside of this great product,it would have been great with a pump for hygienic reasons. The consistency is gel like, and a little goes a long way. I have slightly dry skin which make it hard to work with matte finish foundations. This one helps me to achieve a dewy finish, and lasts all day if I set it with a powder. It doesn't emphasize dry spots, which other foundations have done to me,blends seamlessly into my skin using fingers.Plus another great aspect is that it looks great on my dressing table.
I'm a fan of Clarin's products, the products I've tried have been lovely and great for my dry, sensitive skin.
When I went into a store that stocks Clarins I asked for advice on what would be best for my dry (and slightly ageing..eek!) skin. They recommended this to me and I decided I would give it a go, as my current foundation was not working for me so well.
I had a bit of a shock at the price, but at that time was willing to give anything a go to improve the look of my skin.
The packaging is high end and totally luxurious, in its frosted glass jar teamed with white writing and a gold lid. It looks expensive, which it is! It looks lovely sitting on my dresser, pride of place.
I applied it with a Real Techniques brush and it blends in seamlessly to my skin colour. The formula is very moisturising and hydrating for my skin. I found however, that the formula wasn't very long lasting.
I also much prefer foundations to be in pumps, rather than jars like these. I feel its more hygienic in a pump and you use less product.
Although I liked this foundation, I wasn't in love with it. So, I went searching for my holy grail foundation, which I have found!
In my opinion, this is a very expensive foundation and I believe there are better foundations out there for a more reasonable price. Both Nars sheer glow and Clinique even better foundation are awesome for dry, ageing skin and have much better coverage and stayability than this.
Overall, a nice foundation but not my favourite.
