Limited colours

Whilst I was on the search for the perfect foundation I came across this one I was having a bit of a Clarins skin care phase as well and I was enjoying the products so I thought I didn't have anything to lose. Except lots of hard earned cash!! Because this isn't exactly cheap I think I paid around $80 for this.

The only thing that really annoys me about this foundation is the colour selection is pretty limited I think there is only 11 shades in this range. I was colour matched in farmers and came out with the colour 110 honey which is a bit darker than a standard medium beige, but it was the closest I could get. Luckily it was summer so I could wear it quite easily but since I have gone a wee bit pasty white over winter I cannot wear it.

The square glass bottle with a gold lid looks pretty sitting on my make up shelf. It also has a pump so no wasting product.

This is quite strongly scented, it smells a lot like baby powder and it does take a while for it to settle down. It has a medium coverage and easy to build up. It goes on super easy with a brush it doesn't drag or go streaky.

I have a few fine lines so I always look for a foundation that doesn't settle in my cracks and crevices and this doesn't it has a beautiful dewy finish, perfect for dry skin. I can wear this for 7 hours before it starts too wear off.

If the colour range had more colours and it wasn't so strongly scented I would love this a whole lot more because it does feel good on the skin and doesn't settle in lines and make them stand out more.
