I bought a three pack of different Clarin's minis and this was one of them! I was pretty excited, usually these are about $8 at a perfume sale - Each!! So I was stoked to see this. I used it that night and I am on the fence about whether I like it, really.
My tube is 5ml, which is probably very generous for such an expensive product. I do think that my one has gone a bit bad but that hasn't stopped me using it! The only reason I say that as it is suuuuper hard to get out of the tube and it kind of plops out like the tube has the squirts.
The product itself is a grey kind of blob (at least mine is) and I tried to spread it without much luck onto my face, and it doesn't strike me as the type of product to spread at all. It was hard to use, and very messy! So be warned! I left mine to dry for 10 minutes and then you just kinda rub your face and the product comes off (more mess) and its weird but it's cool. I like the sensation of peeling, though I don't like the mess this creates.
My face afterwards was surprisingly soft, something I wasn't expecting from what I was thinking was a dud product. Would I repurchase? Heck no! Not for that price. I ain't that impressed with it!
I'm a big fan of Clarins beautiful products, but this one was... unusual.
The description sounds good, but the reality was it was very difficult to apply without it coming off the skin while you were trying to rub it in.
Removing the product was unappealing and MESSY! You know that feeling when you've been wearing sunscreen all day and when you rub your skin little bits peel off? Well, that's what this product replicates, on a larger scale. I ended up with bits of product (and probably skin oils) all over the bathroom sink!
And what about the results? Did I feel my face was cleaned? Very no. I immediately jumped in the shower to use my regular face wash because my face felt dirtier than before I used this product!
All up, an interesting idea, but in reality unpleasant to use!
